Gertrude Bliss walks to work at the DNF bookstore and is struggling to make ends meet. Woodrow Barret avoids entire nations’ worth of taxes every month. He wants to buy, liquidate and take over the entire block the DNF sits on, so that way his company (which owns like, the color blue or something) can expand there.
But what if he meets Gertrude? What if she’s simply unlike other girls? Can true love quench the gaping hunger of unfettered capitalism?
