I show a sly smile.

- You understand that to be partners we need trust, don't you? Something that obviously doesn't exist between us.

- I know, that's why I invite you to a little vacation Frank, no tricks, I give you my word. Let's interact more and well so I can show you that I'm taking the issue of being a partner very seriously. Because let's be honest, both of us are in danger and not only that, my sister and also your dear fiancée are...

INTO THE UNKNOWN

My eyes are closed, but I'm not really asleep. I'm still upset and I don't deny it, when I'm angry I can become the same possessed girl and then not even one priest can get my demon out.

I try to sleep but I can't get any damn sleep. Frank hasn't spoken to me, he hasn't even come to see me. I'm just saying, this is his fucking room, where is he supposed to be sleeping?

He probably left the door locked, so I don't bother to get up.

The door is creaking and snorting at having been right. The moron had locked me in.

His steps can be heard perfectly as he approaches me.

I pretend to be asleep. I don't want to talk to him, I don't want to do it because he hasn't apologized to me for raising his voice.

I resolve not to get up. I just want to know what he's going to do.

His hand passes over my back while the other hand holds my legs. I try to close my eyes more as Frank lifts me up. He carries me without putting any strength in, as if he won't weigh anything.

Start walking with me in your arms, don't talk that's the good thing. The door opens again with the only difference that this time we both go out.

I think he's going to take me to my room but I rule out that idea the moment he starts going down step by step. I open my eyes slightly and notice that we are only steps away from the front door.

I can't quite believe what Frank is doing. He's taking us both out of the mansion. He probably thinks I'm no longer useful to him and is throwing me out or maybe he's just taking me somewhere to kill me there. I admit, I do have a bit of a sadistic mind at times.

He stops and speaks something I can't understand, seconds later I hear answers in the same language. I guess he talks to his men.

Frank begins to walk, he does it so slowly that sleep begins to invade me. I can hear his heartbeat perfectly, slow and paused. His breathing is calm and that surprises me.

- I know you're not asleep, Grace.

My heart stops short when I hear it, so I open my eyes and roll them up. My hands that were loose fit perfectly on Frank's neck. This way he holds me in his arms and I become even more attached.

- I see, so you just pretend not to know, huh? - I let out a sigh.

He smiles and can't help himself. It is one of those light smiles that has no sound at all, just a silent smile and that's it. And that...that seems more than charming to me.

- If you think I'm going to...

- I'm sorry - you're interrupting me.

I lift my jaw to see it and I am stunned by the perfect view.

Frank looks at an exact point in front of him, he looks serious and very concentrated, I observe and grave in mind that perfect pose. It just looks beautiful...

When I least expect them, their blues connect with mine so that soon, their lips will give me a tender smile again.

- What do you say? - I question without being able to believe it.

- I said I'm sorry...

- Why? - I grimace in confusion.

- That's what gentlemen do, isn't it? Apologize for being a complete fool...
