Other men needed to take notes.

Not that I would ever need another man, but I couldn’t imagine any other guy being this unreal.

This perfect.

I shrugged. “I’m just saying, we could do this while coffee is being fed into my system. Lorelai had it right.”

“I promise to give you back your coffee in a second.”

“Fine.”

“You are beautiful right now. You’re beautiful all the time.” He trailed his finger along my collarbone, making me shiver. He smirked. “We need to get ready and go pick up our girl.”

Our girl.

Stepping back, Asher handed me my coffee as I stood speechless. “I’ll shower first,” he said, walking away without knowing that he just made my entire world light up like the fourth of July.

Our girl.

I hurried through my normal routine and braided my hair back quickly after tossing on a pair of jean shorts and a loose white t-shirt. Slipping on my tennis shoes, I jogged down the stairs.

Asher caught me around the waist as soon as my feet touched the ground, surprising me. “You should do your hair in a braid more often.” He nuzzled the crook of my neck from behind.

“Oh yeah?”

“Yeah.” Wrapping my braid around his fist, he tugged my head back. “Think of how much fun it would be while I’m inside of you.” His voice raw and gravelly, causing me to shiver.

“I’ll keep that in mind.” I reached up, trailing the pad of my finger along his scruffy jaw before pushing away. “We need to get going.”

He scowled at the distance between us, but it was for the best. If he continued his current path, neither of us would be leaving this house. At least not on time and probably a little ruffled. “Fine, but there’s been a change of plans.”

“Are we not picking up, Phoenix?” I questioned, sliding my crossbody purse over my head.

“We are. But mom texted Sheila, and they all decided we should meet for lunch. Mexican.”

“They know the way to my heart.” I sighed already dreaming about the chips and queso.

“I thought the way to your heart was through multiple orgasms.” He cocked a brow and my face heated. A shot of lust went straight to the core, and I had to press my legs together. Cocky man.

“That’s one way. But you didn’t even know that until recently.”

“Nah, I’ve known that for years. I just didn’t act on it.” He smacked my ass as we walked toward the door.

“Sure.” I laughed. My phone buzzed in my pocket.

Braeden

Are we still doing a walk through today?

I rubbed my forehead. Damn. I forgot. “I need to drive myself.” I said, responding to my brother, letting him know a time and grabbed my keys from the hook by the door.

“Why?” Asher stopped his hand on the doorknob.

I glanced up at him. “You gave me dicknesia.”

He chuckled. “Dick what?”

“Dicknesia. It’s amnesia cause by good dicking.”
