“Put that in your pipe and smoke it, you fucker,” I say. The fountain is fucked, water gushes out onto the manicured lawn and his car is definitely totaled. I skip back inside the school, whistling as I make my way back to my room. I pass two students who eye me warily, can’t blame the bitches though. I must look like shit in nothing but a hoodie that isn’t mine. I don’t give a flying fuck what people think about me. I am who I am and if they don’t like it, they can suck my metaphorical dick.

When I reach my room I make sure to lock the deadbolt on the door and shove my desk chair under the handle for extra security. I debate calling my dad for a split second before thinking better of it and taking a shower first. Once I'm cleaned up and look decent, I grab my Mac and settle myself in the center of my bed before calling my dad. It rings a few times before his panicked face fills the screen.

“Thank fuck,” he breathes out.

“You didn’t really think those assholes would get the upper hand on me, did ya?” A low chuckle escapes him but it holds no humor, just relief.

“I’ve never been more grateful for you being a vindictive little shit.” I smirk and wag my brows. “Chaos, call off the men and bring Sin back.” I tense at the mention of my uncle. I may be in a group chat with him but he never replies or speaks to me.

“The demon still alive?” I hear Uncle Chaos ask.

“Yeah, she’s good,” Dad answers. “Here, your mother wants to speak to you,” he says a second before the phone is passed and my mom’s face fills the screen. Just the sight of her has tension fleeing me. Erika Murdoch is a badass but never with me. My mom is the most kind-spirited woman you will ever meet. Me being away is fucking hard for her. She tried to help me find a way out of this stupid school.

“Thank God, you’re okay,” she says.

“I’m fine, Mom, I swear.” I try to placate her but I can see it in her eyes that she isn’t buying what I’m selling.

“They weren’t supposed to start until they met with your father. There will be repercussions for this, baby, I promise you.” The conviction in her tone tells me that my mom is fucking raging.

“I know. I don’t think this was a trial, Mom. I think the brothers set me up to try and get me to quit.” She snorts and shakes her head.

“Clearly they don’t know my daughter if they think she would quit.”

“Damn right, I’ll show those Greek fucks what happens when they get on my bad side.” Mom flinches.

“Baby, one of those boys is the new headmaster?—”

I cut her off. “I know. He’s the one who stripped me and tried to leave me in the woods.” The words have barely left my mouth when the phone is snatched from my mom and my dad’s angry face fills the screen.

“The cunt did what to you?” The deathly calm tone of his voice is the way to tell that he is thirsting for blood.

“Dad, I handled it. His car is parked in the fountain out front and I made sure to drug him and return the favor. He’s currently naked in the woods with no way back to the school.” Dad’s brows raise. “I don’t think our new headmaster will last, Daddy,” I say sweetly and bat my lashes. For the first time he doesn’t shout and rage at me, he just laughs.

“Atta girl, get the fucker to quit and I promise you there will be no repercussions from me this time.” I beam at the screen.

“Really?”

“Yes, I never wanted Artemis Argyros to lead the school.”

“Say you swear you won’t be mad and I’ll have him out within the next week of school returning.” He sighs and nods. I squeal in delight as all the possibilities of what I can do to him run through my mind.

“Do not burn the fucking school down, London, I mean it.” I roll my eyes.

“I already told you! I didn’t mean to burn the east wing, it was an accident. You need to let that shit go, man.” His eyes narrow.

“Two kids were injured in that fire!” he shouts and I wave him off.

“Those bitches had it coming. They shouldn’t have tried to sabotage me–”

“They only sat in a seat!” he barks.

“Everyone in that class knew that was my seat. They didn’t want to move, so I told them I would burn them in it and they laughed. Not my fault they didn’t heed my warning.” He stabs a hand through his hair and growls. He is so highly strung out, honestly he needs to relax more, the guy is way too serious all the time.

“Just don’t burn the fucking school down. I’ll be there in three days to meet with Costa. I believe his sons will be there?—”

“Good, so where should I meet you?”

“You are not coming!” I glare at the screen.
