Her words made me think about my grandfather. He was such an enigma to me. When I was younger, he would only come around when he needed something from my parents. And if I protested, he would promise me something I’d love; a snack or stuffed animal if I’d calm down.

Now that I think about it, it was obvious that my parents preferred to be there for me. But they would do as he said if they thought I was okay.

As an adult, I realized that was manipulation. At the time, it didn’t bother me until my uncle started touching me.

I knew then something was wrong. But I was sworn to secrecy. If I behaved and kept my mouth closed, my parents would return, and I’d get to spend more time with them. And so, I did.

“Family is important. The more we nurture relationships, the better off those relationships are.”

Did that mean my grandfather and I should work on our relationship? Did we even have a relationship to work on?

“Unless the ones who make up the unit are sour. We must know when to walk away and let destiny run its course.”

Nonna’s words were heavy on my mind. And the way I saw it was that I’d reached out to my grandfather. I knew he was probably upset about the change of events. If he refused to speak with me or mend our broken relationship, I’d do precisely what Nonna said—walk away.

A quick breeze shuffled over me, and I was covered in shadow.

Slap!

“Ah!” I squealed and looked up at Dominic, who stood over me with a lazy grin. My ass tingled from his whack and aroused me simultaneously. Rotating completely, I got a full view of his gorgeous face, succulent lips, and tall, chiseled body.

Bare-chested in beach shorts, Dominic’s physique was uniquely tanned—so much so that you would think he tanned regularly to keep the shade of his skin perfect.

“Wow, you’re gorgeous,” I said.

His grin deepened, and he finger-combed his short black hair, swiping it back over his head. “And you are a goddess.”

I blushed. “So you tell me.”

He squinted. “That’s because it’s the truth.”

“If you believe that, then kiss me, handsome.” I sat up with my lips poked out for a kiss.

Dominic bent down, grabbed my neck, and inhaled my tongue in a mouthwatering, piping-hot suckle, which weakened me instantly.

“Mmmmmmm,” I moaned.

His tongue flipped with mine, then his lips moved from my mouth. “I need to make an important phone call. I’ll be back. If you need me, I won’t be far.”

“Okay.”

He kissed my lips again, and then I watched him walk away. His sturdy stroll kept me hypnotized until he disappeared into a beach hut.

Lying back, I closed my eyes and took a nap.

Two hours later, I was on my feet, leaving the beach to venture into a garden cove nearby. An extensive array of Bermuda buttercups and plumerias grew from the earth, and I knew the locals kept them blooming. Dropping down, I sank my knees into the soft earth, pushed my nose against the plumerias, and inhaled their fresh scent.

“These are so beautiful,” I whispered.

“Not as beautiful as you.”

A smile stretched across my face, and I turned to see Dominic squatting to my level. With his fingers, he pulled the straps on my bikini bottom, and the fabric fell away from me.

I arched my ass, and he crawled over me and drove his dick inside my pussy from behind.

“Oh! Sssssssss!” I hissed and bucked, naturally jerking forward. He wrapped an arm around my leg and dragged me back, thrusting inside and bracing his hand in the soil to keep me locked in place.
