“Be ready,” he said. “Oh, and Miss Tanner?”

“Yes?”

“Thisisa real case.”

Olivia and Elliotpurred in my lap as I sat outside a lounge called Club Fed. This was the fourth car of Damien’s I’d experienced—a custom Audi R8—and the slight guilt I’d felt over damaging his McLaren had diminished.

Damien was chatting with a bouncer, looking even sexier than usual in a light grey suit.

He strolled toward the car and motioned for me to open the door.

“Something wrong?” I asked.

“I need you to come inside with me,” he said.

“Why?”

“It’s a swinger’s club. No single people allowed.”

“The firm has an entire department dedicated to private investigations,” I said. “There are seventy people who work on that floor.”

“What’s your point?”

“Have you ever considered asking them to do stuff like this?”

“They do a lot of things for me.” He smiled, and my heart had the audacity to skip a beat. “Stuff like this is off the record, though.”

He scooped Olivia and Elliot into his arms and placed them in the backseat.

“If they scratch anything, I’ll pay for it.”

“I won’t hold my breath,” he said. “You still owe me a payment plan for my other car.”

“Did you get it fixed yet?”

“Still waiting to get it back.” He wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me against his side. My heart raced as weapproached the entrance, and the bouncer led us to a booth in the back.

As Damien set up a mini camera to watch the cheating spouse we’d been tailing all night, I stared at the dance floor in utter shock.

Half-naked couples writhed against each other, nearly sexing in front of everyone. They shared a passionate kiss with the person in front of them, but by the time the song ended, they were tasting the lips of someone else.

Out of the corner of my eyes, a security guard held up a velvet rope, leading a few couples down a dark hallway for privacy.

“First time?” A bald guy tapped my left shoulder.

“Huh?”

“This must be your first time here.” He licked his lips. “Are you here to play or are you comfortable alone?”

“She’s comfortable with me.” Damien pulled me into his lap, so I was facing him. “You can go.”

The guy rolled his eyes and sauntered away, quickly entertaining someone else.

“How long do we have to stay here?” I asked.

“Not much longer.” He tightened his grip around me, and I felt his cock hardening under me.

“I missed you this weekend,” he whispered into my ear. “And I’ve never missed anyone before.”
