“All I remember is rabbits.”

Yeah. Even I thought that was odd.

I distinctly remember seeing a pretty white rabbit.

“What?” Henley gasped, confused.

“Oh, that’s helpful, Frank.” Priest laughed, holding onto the wall for support.

Growling, I narrowed my eyes at the laughing hyena. “It’s not funny!”

Bailey smirked. “Face it, Frank. Like the rest of these misfits, you finally fell down the rabbit hole. All we need to do now is find your Alice!”

“Spread out and find the damn keys before the big man loses his shit,” King ordered, hiding his own smirk when Jessica ran into my room, coming to a complete stop.

Grinning, she teased, “Damn, you guys have all the fun.”

“Go away,” I growled at her as she walked over and lifted my bed sheet to get a good look at my private parts. Whistling, she quickly gave me two thumbs up before announcing, “Got a problem. The hospital fired Claudia yesterday. Have any of you seen her?”

“Uh, she was here last night, but I didn’t see her when I went to bed. She probably went home. Have you checked her place?” Enigma, her brother said, searching the top of my dresser, being a little too damn nosey for my taste.

“She’s not there,” Jessica confirmed, taking a seat next to Bailey.

My bed was getting crowded fast.

“What do you mean, the hospital fired her? She didn’t say shit to me about it last night,” Bailey admitted, laying across my legs, getting comfortable.

Didn’t they care that someone handcuffed me naked to my bed?

“I stopped by the hospital to get my schedule and the nurses told me. Apparently, Claudia threatened to remove Mr. William’s dick and shove it up his ass. He had her escorted out of the hospital by security.”

“Does that mean she won’t be able to deliver our baby?” Skylar asked worriedly, looking at Pyro.

“I’m with Skylar,” Henley said, looking at Scribe. “I want Claudia. I don’t want to find another doctor.”

“No one is touching me but Claudia. If I can’t have her, then I’m having a home birth and King can deliver our kid.”

And just like that, everyone stopped what they were doing and stared dumbfounded at Bailey, right before pandemonium broke out.

“King, you better fix this shit fast!” Gunner shouted.

“I’m moving out!” Enigma added.

“Dear God, save us all.” Priest quickly crossed himself.

Could have told Priest that praying wouldn’t work.

Bailey had her serious face on. She meant every word.

“Uh, Cupcake, I love you, but there is no way in hell that is happening.”

“Then you better fix this shit fast,” the stubborn woman said.

“How? I’ve got no say in what the hospital does.”

“You’ve got eight months, asshole.” Bailey smiled, getting to her feet along with Jessica. “Get Claudia her job back, or you and your merry band of misfits will all be training to be midwives!”

Before anyone could reply, Bailey marched her little ass out of my room, with Jessica and the other women hot on her heels.
