Sighing, I sat back in my chair. “Little dude. No one wants to marry me.”

“Why not?” Cameron asked, confused. “You are the coolest brother in the club. You are smart and you never try to correct me when I cuss. You’re awesome!”

“Thank you for that, but a girl has to like me before I can marry her, and last I looked, no one liked me like that.”

“That’s bullshit!” he yelled, loud enough to garner a few stares. Angry now, Cameron scanned the room until his eyes landed on Claudia. “You are the best of the best. I need to have a talk with that Betty!”

“What?”

Before I could grab him, Cameron rushed off to confront Claudia. Getting to my feet, someone pushed me back in my seat.

“Sit down, Frank,” Jessica whispered. “Let him have his say.”

“He’s going to embarrass her and me.”

“No. What he is going to do is light a fire under her ass. We all see how you two look at each other. We all know.”

“Know what?”

“That you like Claudia and she likes you.”

“She doesn’t like me like that, Jess. She said so herself.”

“She lied.”

“YO! WOMAN!” Cameron’s voice sounded over the music as all conversations stopped. “Down here, Dr. Claudia.”

Claudia took a step back and looked down at the irate little boy in front of her. “Can I help you, Cameron?”

“You sure can, lady. What’s wrong with my boy? Why are you not his TFB?”

“What?”

“His TFB. True Fucking Betty!”

“Cameron, I don’t understand what you’re talking about.”

“My boy likes you. Why don’t you like him back? Frank is great. The best brother in this club. Everyone knows that. Is he too good for you?”

Claudia gulped, looking around the room while everyone held their snickers and laughter to a minimum as they listened intently.

Dear God. He wasn’t going to stop.

I knew that look.

Little dude was on a mission.

Searching for Skylar and Pyro, I spotted them stood near the bar, hiding their laughter as Cameron ripped into Claudia.

“He likes you and you like him. I’ve seen you checking him out. You lick your lips every time you see his backside.”

At that, Devlyn spewed her beer across the room and everyone erupted in laughter.

“You tell her, young man!” my granny shouted encouragingly. “My Franklin is the best of the best!”

“Yeah, what the old lady said.”

“Uh, Cameron, this isn’t the right place to have this conversation. Maybe we can talk about this later when you come in for a checkup.”
