I stroked myself, imagining him bearing down on me, notching himself to my core then thrusting home. There was nothing like his dick. It was the perfect shape, slightly too thick, the edge of pain giving so much pleasure. And when he’d been inside me, he’d lit me up like a goddamned Christmas tree.
I shuddered, desperately lost and chasing that pleasure hard. It was exactly why I needed a vibrator based on him. Nothing else would do.
I worked my hand, moving fast. Him, moving in and out of me.
Despite everything, I wanted him. That was a problem for another day, because right now, it was really working for me.
Another chime from my phone had me grabbing it up.
Valentine: Just so you know, I fill this tube.
God. My orgasm hit me in a crashing wave, and I cried out, throbbing around nothing and wishing he was with me. Sparks flowed through my veins, and I sank back onto my soft bed, lightheaded and grinning at the ceiling.
It took a solid minute for me to cool, then I hopped to the bathroom to clean up.
When I returned to my bedroom, another message landed.
Valentine: Time’s up. Tell me exactly how hot and bothered you got.
He must’ve finished with the tube. Obviously he wasn’t letting the erection go to waste.
I tapped a reply, smiling.
Mia: On my back, fingers moving fast, imagining using that toy.
My phone rang, and I jumped. But it wasn’t Valentine. Elise was calling, Avery’s mother. I snapped to answer.
“Mia? Sorry to bother you, but I need to let you know that Tobi’s just been sick.”
“Oh no, is she okay?” My heart panged.
“I think she might have a tummy bug. There’s one going around the school.”
“I’m on my way,” I said.
Hanging up, I dressed in a rush. Then I jogged outside and banged on the door of the cottage next to mine. Valentine swung it open, thankfully clothed.
His smirk faded at my expression. “What’s wrong?”
“I’ve got to go pick up Tobi, she’s sick,” I said fast. “But that means I can’t complete the model.”
The rubber mixture needed to be poured into the mould he’d made, the vibrating part added in, too. I could hardly do it in front of her. This was not mother-and-daughter arts-and-craft time.
His dark eyebrows dove together. “Leave it with me. I’ll finish it up.”
“Are you sure?”
“I want to see how it turns out.”
His gaze held mine for a beat longer, but I had a sick child to go fetch.
When I returned, Tobi clinging to me, we went straight inside and heard nothing more from Valentine all evening. I could only hope he had time to complete our project before he had to leave.
Chapter 17
Valentine
The crowd roared, the wave of sound deafening, though muted by my in-ear headphones. In front of me, Finn stared eagle-eyed at the stage where his father sauntered out, bare-chested and sweating, his guitar slung low to his hips.
