“I know exactly where the kitchen is, but I want to watch your naked ass sway in front of me, so lead the way.”
“You’re ridiculous.” She sighed and stomped out of the room, which just made her ass dance more, adding to my joy.
After getting the clothes in the wash, I sent off a food order and went to the living room, where Zoe was perched on the edge of her couch scrolling through movies like I’d instructed her to do. She looked completely uncomfortable and out of place sitting naked in her very monochromatic and proper living room. It was insane to me how cold and uninviting this place was. And as I got to know Zoe more, it made even less sense.
“Can I have a blanket?” she asked.
“Are you cold?”
“No, I’m just really, really uncomfortable and you said you wanted me to relax and I won’t be able to.”
As much as I wanted to keep her naked, I really did want her to relax. “I’ve probably pushed you far enough for one night. Thank you for telling me what you need. Where can I find a blanket?”
“In the hall closet.” She pointed.
I went down the hall, throwing open the closet door to find a wicker basket full of cozy throw blankets. “Fuck, even your throw blankets are cream-colored. What did that man have against colors?” I shook the blanket out and sat next to her, covering us both with the soft material.
She snuggled against me like I’d hoped she would. “I really don’t know.”
I didn’t press any further, and just enjoyed having her naked form pressed against mine as a movie I’d never seen before started to play. I really didn’t care what we watched; as long as she relaxed, I was happy.
My phone buzzed, alerting me that the food driver had arrived, and I realized I couldn’t answer the door naked. Getting up, I tucked the blanket around her and went to find a towel to wrap around my waist. It was the best I could do in the current situation. I gave him a big tip as a silent apology and took the food to the coffee table.
“I don’t usually eat in here,” she told me.
“Well we can’t very well eat in the dining room, now can we?”
“Oh yeah, I guess not. I really should be cleaning that up. It's going to stain.”
“If you so much as touch a cleaning supply, I will whip your ass with my belt.”
Her mouth dropped open in shock.
“This is where you say ‘yes, Daddy’.”
“Yes Daddy.” She sighed.
Pleased, I nodded and went to the kitchen to get plates, cutlery, and wine glasses. Having no luck finding the latter, I took the former back to the living room. “Where do you keep your wine glasses?” I asked as I set the plates down and pulled the bottle of wine out of the bag. It wasn’t the swankiest wine, but it would do for the night.
“Oh. I don’t have any. I don’t drink.”
“Okay, not a problem.” I vaguely remembered her mentioning that before, but I’d forgotten, so I was a bit taken aback, but to each their own. I took the wine to the kitchen and just put the entire bottle in the garbage, then rejoined her in the living room.
CHAPTER 10
ZOE
The food smelled amazing and tasted even better. Also, Lennon was surprisingly good company. He was funny and witty and really smart. I was blown away with how much our intellects matched, something I’d never expected. It was refreshing and enjoyable, and I really had a good time. Somehow he even managed to help me forget that I was sitting naked in my living room sharing a meal with one of my former students. Almost. When I accidentally dropped some rice on my bare leg, it was an instant reminder of our state of undress.
“Ugh,” I groaned as I removed the food from my leg. Lennon dipped a napkin in his water and handed it to me.
“Thank you.” I wiped up the mess.
“I was going to offer to lick it off, but I figured you wouldn’t appreciate that as much.”
The admission shouldn’t have surprised me, but it did, and I laughed, hard. I couldn’t stop. I laughed until my face and stomach muscles hurt. Even when I was able to sober slightly, little giggles would escape.
“You have a beautiful laugh. I could listen to it all day.” Lennon smiled at me.
