“I didn’t expect her to go toe to toe with me.” He then winked. “She’s a cute little drunk, isn’t she?”

As Caterina bounced and jiggled in my arms to the music, I rolled my eyes. “I was thinking more like an annoying gnat on a summer day.”

Caterina jumped down and staggered over to Dare. “More shots!”

“Oh hell no.” I shook my head. “No more shots for you. Ever.”

She pushed her bottom lip out. After smacking my chest, she pronounced, “You’re a mean party pooper, Callum.”

“That I am.” Grabbing her arm, I said, “Come on. It’s time to get you home.”

“No! I don’t want to go,” she shrieked, pulling against me.

I shot a look at Dare who had the nerve to grin at me. “I will pay you back for this, brother.”

“I look forward to it.”

When I grabbed Caterina around the waist, she tried twisting away from me. “Let me go. I want to dance.”

“We’re going home,” I countered before hoisting her up over my shoulder.

Another ear-piercing shriek ricocheted through my ear. “Put me down, Callum!” she commanded.

I smacked her ass. “Retract the claws, Kitten.”

“Don’t you dare manhandle me.” Her fists beat against my lower back. “Put me down, you bastard.”

With a chuckle, I mused, “Listen to that language. A month out of the order, and you sound like a sailor down at the Belfast docks.”

“I do not!”

“Aye, you do.”

With my free hand, I dug my phone out of my pocket and called for my driver. After alerting him, I carried Caterina down the employee hallway to the backdoor. I nodded to the bodyguard at the door and he opened it for me.

Caterina continued to thrash in my arms while wailing about wanting to stay. “If you don’t put a cork in it, Kitten, I’ll never let you back in my club.”

Her angry shouts cut off and were replaced by sniffling. As I slid her back onto her feet, tears welled in her dark eyes. “Why are you crying?”

Wrapping her arms around herself, she sobbed, “Because you’re so mean not letting me come to your club again.”

“That’s not what I said.”

“Yes, it is!” she shrieked.

Be it sober or drunk, this woman was going to be the death of me. I rolled my eyes and vowed once again to beat the hell out of Dare for getting her drunk. Thankfully, the SUV arrived, and after the driver opened the backdoor, I hoisted Caterina up into the backseat.

As her sobs turned into hiccupping cries, I turned my attention to my phone. I opened our group text to let Quinn and Kellan know I was leaving and to remind the three of them about their closing duties.

After shoving my phone back in my pocket, I cut my eyes over to Caterina. At her heated gaze, I shifted uncomfortably. While I was thankful she was no longer on a crying jag, I was wary of the sudden lust glittering in her eyes.

Before I could stop her, Caterina lunged across the seat to straddle me. Her dress had ridden so far up her thighs I could see the red scrap of lace covering her pussy. After sliding her arms around my neck, she slammed her lips against mine. Unlike my sober wife, my drunk wife took what she wanted. After thrusting her tongue in my mouth, her hips began to roll against my crotch. I could feel her white-hot heat through my slacks, which caused my neglected cock to harden.

Her nails scoured through my hair, causing me to hiss. “I want you, Callum,” she purred against my lips.

“Oh, fuck, Kitten,” I growled as my hands slipped up her neck. I thrust my erection against her core, causing us both to moan. But then I remembered the woman on my lap was my very drunk, virgin bride. I brought my hands to her waist and then pushed her off my cock.

“What are you doing?”
