“I love you,” I tell her as my cock throbs and releases into her. Waves of pleasure wash over the both of us, and I curl into her as we collapse onto the bed. I’m still locked in tightly to her wet heat as we lie there and catch our breath, but it’s my favorite place to be, and I’m not ready to leave.
“Have I told you how much I love Sunday mornings?” she says and then laughs.
My arms tighten around her as I kiss her shoulder and smile. “Whatever we’re paying Marco, we should double it.”
Kelly slaps my arm, and I nuzzle into her neck. “We’re not paying him. He loves spending time with his nieces.”
On Sunday mornings, Marco takes both our girls out for breakfast and then they do something fun together like go to the park or the zoo. He’s on summer break from college right now and is making the most of his time before he has to go back.
After everything that happened with Vince, Kelly and I worried that it might mess him up or at least derail his education for a while. But Kelly is an incredible sister and second mother to Marco and got him into therapy right away. It took time for them to work through what happened to them as children and then losing their father, no matter how terrible he was. But since then, Marco turned a corner, and he’s living his best life.
He graduated high school with honors and got a full ride to the Ivy League college of his dreams. He even introduced us to his new girlfriend at dinner last night, and he seems truly happy.
Kelly likes to say that he did the work on his own, but Marco and I both agree that it’s because of her that he had the chance to live this life to begin with. She saved him little by little until I could get them both of them out of there.
“I still can’t believe he called you Dad,” Kelly says, and I hold her a little tighter.
“I’m not sure I’ll ever get over hearing that.” Last night at dinner when he was introducing us to his new girlfriend, he called me Dad, and my knees almost buckled.
It’s not that I haven’t thought about it before, especially after having our daughters, but to hear him say it to someone else is a moment I won’t ever forget. I’ve done my best to be a good role model to Marco and help him through tough times. He’s turned out to be an incredible young man, and if he thinks I had anything to do with it, then it’s an honor for him to call me that.
“He’s right, though. You’ve been more of a father to him than his own ever was. He’s lucky to have you.” She turns a little and looks back at me. “We all are.”
I shake my head. “I’m the lucky one. You brought him into my life and then gave me the most amazing girls I could have asked for. I’d be nothing without you.”
“You know what, you’re right,” she teases and grins up at me.
“Glad we agree,” I say, and our lips connect.
One kiss turns into another, and our love keeps on growing.

Chapter Eighteen
HARLOW
Drip. Drip. Drip.
I pull my eyes away from my computer screen to glare towards the kitchen. The sound of the pipe dripping is driving me insane. It only started this morning, but it’s the first thing I heard when my eyes sprang open. I fell asleep on the sofa again while I was working.
I put my laptop down next to me and go to the kitchen sink. I lean down and see the pan I put under it hasn’t filled up much. It isn’t that big of a deal and it will hold until the contractor gets here, but it’s the sound that’s driving me crazy.
My old kitchen didn’t have this problem and I still don’t see why it needed an update to begin with. I look around the kitchen my cousin redesigned for me. It’s a starter project for her since she just graduated from design school. She’s looking to fill her portfolio and I let her redo my kitchen. After that it all escalated rather quickly.
The kitchen is done but now she’s moved to my office. Which is why I’m working in my living room. I’m going to have the fanciest apartment in this whole building when she’s done. I don’t care where I live, I just work and play on my computer. Where I do that has no impact on me unless there’s an annoying sound driving me crazy.
