Zane and Calvin’s eyes light up as they give each other a look. “Are you pregnant?” Calvin asks me slowly.
My brows furrow. “How did you know?”
“You’re pregnant!?” Everett asks, pulling back to gape down at me.
“Yes.” I nod, unable to keep the smile from my face.
“Holy fucking shit!” Griffin laughs. “We’re going to be dads!”
“Fuck yeah.” Zane high-fives Calvin.
“Did you two have something to do with the fact my heat started when it shouldn’t have?” I ask, raising a brow.
“Would you be mad if we said we did?” Zane counters.
“No...” I laugh. And it’s true. Maybe it’s a red flag, but with them, I’m just going to pretend that I’m color blind. “Because I’m so damn happy. We’re having a baby! We’re going to be parents.”
Calvin pries me from a grumbling Everett and pulls me into his arms. “I love you, Darling. And I love our little one to be.”
“I love you too.”
“Thank you for choosing us. You had so many reasons to want to leave, but you didn’t, and for that, we will be forever grateful.”
“I’d never leave. Because I’ve spent so many years thinking I lost the people I’ve loved so hard. And once I got them back, nothing would drag me away. You are just the cherry on top of my happily ever after. I’m blessed to have four amazing alphas who would literally do anything for me. I’m not sure what the future holds for us, but as long as we’re all together, it doesn't matter.”
“I couldn’t have said it better myself, Trouble.”
Epilogue 1
Zane
Six months later
“IS IT DONE?” I ASK Calvin, phone pressed to my ear with one hand as I hold a gun in my other, pointing it to the two people who made my life a living hell.
“It’s done,” Calvin confirms, and I let out a sigh of relief. Calvin is at our father's house, giving him a very similar fate to the one that I’m about to give these two fucking pieces of shit. “I’ll meet you back at the house in an hour. I’ll have my men make sure there's no trace. Remember, do not touch anything.”
“I won’t.”
“Good job, little brother. You didn’t have to do this.”
“I do,” I tell him. “If it means keeping our omega safe, then I do.”
“I agree.”
He hangs up, and I slip the phone back in my pocket. “Are you done yet?” I ask in a bored tone as Karen and Charles cry like the pathetic wastes-of-space they are.
“Why are you doing this?” she sobs as she writes down her own suicide note.
“Because the world will be a better place without you in it. I’m giving you an easy out. I could make this slow and painful, but I’m giving you the courtesy to go quickly.”
“I always knew you were fucked in the head,” Charles snivels out as he writes his.
“Me?” I snort out a laugh. “I’m not someone who fucking takes in foster girls, touches them, and when they become omegas fucking sells them! I know what you were planning on doing with Jade. I know what that crazy bitch ex-manager of mine paid you to do, too. You kept Jade from us. You lied. You are just as much to blame as Gianna was, as my father is. Don’t think I don’t know about his involvement. I’m just glad in the end it was all for nothing.”
“Not nothing.” He laughs. “You lost six years with her.”
“And now I have a fucking lifetime!” I snarl.
