“Good.” I smile, then my brows furrow. “Please tell me Gianna isn’t going with us on the jet? I can’t promise I won’t kill her if I’m forced to be in a confined space with her for seven hours.”
“No. She’s taking a commercial flight.”
“Good,” I mutter. “I don’t like that woman.”
“Nor do I.” He kisses the side of my head.
“Why does she work for the guys then?”
“Because she’s good at her job. And overall, she gets along with the guys. Also, she was hired by my father himself. So...”
“Is it just me, or does she seem a little too protective over the guys? It’s more than just a manager thing,” I tell him, praying, he doesn’t think I’m just some jealous omega. I mean, I am, but I’m also not blind.
“Possibly. She’s been with the guys from the start. She does care about them. I do know she fancies them. Griffin is known to be a big flirt, but the others don’t interact with her other than in a professional way.”
My stomach sinks at the idea of Griffin flirting with her. “He better stop if he wants to keep his dick.”
“You know, Darling, I sure do love this possessive side of you,” he murmurs. “Although I can’t help but feel a little jealous myself.”
“Don’t worry, if another person tried anything with you, I’d go all possessive omega on your ass too.” I laugh.
“Would it be bad if I said that it turns me on?” He gives me a heated look.
“Not any worse than me being turned on by how obsessed you all have become with me. You sure do know how to make an omega feel wanted.” I bite my lower lip.
“Because you are, Jade,” he murmurs, gripping my chin so he can press a soft kiss to my lips. “The four of us have never or will ever want anyone else in this world more than we want you, Jade.”
“But why?” I whisper, feeling a bit self-conscious. “Why me?”
“Because you are everything, Jade. And we all plan on making you see that.”
We get back to the hotel and grab the few things that we’ve picked up for me. Thankfully, Calvin had a proper suitcase sent up.
“By any chance, do you think you could send for my phone, ID, and cards?” I ask Calvin as we head to a private airport.
“Not a chance,” he chuckles.
“What?!” I gape at him. “Why not?”
“Because, I’m not giving you anything that you could use to get you back to the States without us.” He shoots me a dark look. Fucking hell, if he’s more like his brother than I thought. Great, two crazy alphas.
“You guys are nuts,” I grumble. “How are you even able to get me around without a passport?”
“Money opens doors, Jade. As much as I hate that fact sometimes, it does come in handy.”
“You're all such... alphas,” I huff.
“We’re cavemen when it comes to you, Darling.” He kisses the top of my head. “Better get used to it.”
I might act like it bothers me, but damn it, I love it. I’ve never felt like this before; safe, loved, wanted. And while the feeling scares me, it also thrills me.
The guys are at the airport when we pull up to the jet. They’re all waiting outside like they’re afraid I wasn’t going to come, not wanting to get on until they see for themselves that I’m here.
“Ready?” Zane asks as we meet them by the door.
“As ready as I’ll ever be.”
We climb on the plane and get settled. This time there is a full cabin crew for the flight.
