“Children,” Calvin huffs.
“Careful, big guy, your old-man-age is showing.” I grin, looking up into his bright blue eyes.
“Who are you calling an old man?” he raises a brow, stepping close until he’s towering over me. My head tilts back to look up at him. My heart pounds, palms sweating as he stares down at me with hungry eyes.
“Would an old man be able to take a pretty little omega for hours, fucking her until her voice is hoarse as she begs him for more? Would he be able to knot her three times in one night until that omega passes out from exhaustion, still locked around his knot?”
Fucking hell, the mouth on this man. He’s not wrong, though. This man is a beast in bed. I've even wondered how the hell he can go so long. I whimper, swaying in his direction. He chuckles, gripping my chin and kissing me. My body hums, my pussy weeps, and for a second I forget we’re in a very public place.
“Now who's acting like a horny teenager?” Zane grumbles. “I’d rather not have every person in London know how fucking amazing my omega smells, thanks.”
Calvin breaks the kiss, leaving me lightheaded and buzzing. “Ours,” he corrects Zane.
“Whatever.” Zane rolls his eyes, then looks back in the other direction. “Oh, for fuck’s sake.” He sighs.
I look over in that direction to find Griffin taunting the guard, trying to make him break formation.
“You're all children,” I sigh and rush over to the guys. “Griffin, what the hell are you doing?”
Griffin looks over at me with a big grin on his face. “I’m trying to see if he breaks. Dude is good though. Won’t even look at me.”
“Why the hell are you doing that? The man is trying to do his job.” I narrow my eyes at him, feeling as if I was scolding a child.
He shrugs. “It’s funny.” He looks over at the guard. “You don’t mind, do you, big guy? Oh, if I offer you an autograph, would you break then?”
The guard does nothing. “How do you even know he knows who you are? Or, if he even likes your band?” I ask Griffin.
He gives me a look like I’ve offended him. “We’re Tattered Souls, everyone knows us. Everyone loves us.”
“And now you sound like an egotistical rock star and, baby, that is not going to fly with me.” I shake my head and grab his arm. “Get your ass back over to Calvin and Zane, and stop being a dick.”
“I wasn’t!”
“You were.” I narrow my eyes at him. “He’s doing his job. He’s here to protect and serve. But he unfortunately has to deal with annoying tourists doing stupid shit like this all day. People should be respectful, take a photo from a distance, and move on.”
“Shit.” He sighs with a guilty look. “I didn’t think about it like that.” He looks over at the guard. “Sorry, man.” Of course, the guard doesn’t look his way, but I could have sworn I saw his lip twitch. Maybe just a little?
Griffin heads back over to the guys. I look at the guard and whisper. “I won’t tell anyone, but if you happen to message High Roller on Facebook, mention my name, Jade, I could hook you up with some tickets. You know, if you're a fan.”
And with that, I leave him to do his job.
The more time I spend with the guys the more I realize that some things haven’t changed. They are still the young, playful—sometimes stupid—boys they’ve always been.
That makes me smile, because I’ve missed that for so long, and I’d be crushed if there weren’t any traces of my guys left.

WE’RE WALKING DOWN the street, my hand in Jade’s as we make our way out of the restaurant that we stopped at for lunch, when Zane’s phone rings.
“Fucking hell,” he mutters, looking down at his screen. “What does she want?”
“Who is it?” Everett asks.
“Gianna,” he mutters, and I feel Jade squeeze my hand a little tighter. I hate that she feels uncomfortable around Gianna, and I super hate Gianna for making her feel that way.
Gianna has always been a great manager. She works hard and seems to always want what’s in the best interest of the band, to see us succeed. But the way she’s treated Jade from the moment she met her doesn’t fly with us.
I wouldn’t want to see Gianna leave or have to deal with taking on a new manager who we don’t know or have any trust with. But none of us will tolerate Jade being treated disrespectfully.
