“Oh, yeah. Come to bed with me.”

He chuckled. “Desire, I’m not going to bed this early.”

“But I wanna suck your dick.”

“Take your drunk ass to sleep. I’m not?—”

“You’re turning me down?”

“You fell asleep in the shower five minutes ago. Take a nap and I promise, you can suck my dick later.”

When he leaned down to kiss my forehead, I locked my arms around his neck and pulled him on top of me.

“That shower did the trick. I’m wide awake and horny as hell. Take those shorts off and put your dick in my mouth.”

“Damn, baby. Since you put it that way.”

He moved lightning fast, getting naked and lying on the bed. I slipped from the covers and positioned myself between his legs.

“How do you want it?” I asked as I took him in my hand.

“Wet and sloppy, baby. You know how I like it.”

Wet and sloppy it was… until I had to race to the bathroom to release everything I’d eaten and drank that day.

What I thought was the effect of too many mimosas lingered for much longer than it should have. A week after brunch with the girls, I still felt terrible. Aziel kept hinting that I might be pregnant, but I didn’t want to get my hopes up only to be let down.

However, after constant urging from him, I finally made a doctor’s appointment. We were sitting in the examination room at my doctor’s office, awaiting the results of the tests she ran. I tried to keep calm, but my nerves were bad.

“Okay, it looks like you two are having a baby in about seven and a half months,” Dr. Whittaker announced when she returned.

“Yes!” Aziel shouted.

“Dr. Whittaker, are you serious?”

“Desire, you know I wouldn’t play with you like that. Congratulations!”

I took a moment to process her words while my husband rubbed my flat stomach.

“Did you say seven and a half months?” She nodded. “That means I’m… ten weeks. My cycle was late, but it came last month.”

“Our bodies are magical and mysterious; sometimes they do what they want. However, was your cycle normal?”

“Aside from being late, it was slightly lighter and shorter than normal.”

“That makes sense. I assure you our tests are accurate. You two ready to see him or her?”

“Hell yeah. Set that shit up!”

“Aziel, calm down, and act like you’re the mayor and you had home training.”

Dr. Whittaker laughed. “It’s okay. I love seeing excited fathers.”

Ten minutes later, our attention was focused on the ultrasound screen. A sound similar to galloping horses filled the room. Instantly, my heart was full, tears filling my eyes and rolling down my cheeks.

“That’s a strong heartbeat,” Dr. Whittaker said. “And those tiny little dots right there are Baby A and Baby B.”

“Excuse me. What?”
