“Willow, love, wake up. I need to get you cleaned up, and then we can go to bed.”

She grumbles and buries her face deeper into neck.

“I can put you in a cold shower still dressed if you’d like…”

“No! You’ll ruin my boots.”

I laugh and sit her on the counter. “Wouldn’t want to ruin such sexy boots.”

I help her take off her clothes, removing weapons as I go. She has a surprising number of knives on her. She was prepared for anything. Once she’s fully undressed, I strip out of my clothes, adding my weapons to the pile on the counter.

Even though we’re both exhausted, I take the time to carefully wash and condition her hair. When we’re both clean of blood and grime, I carry her to bed. As soon as I lay down, she takes her place on top of me.

My cock is hard as a rock, but there will be no fucking tonight. My Beauty needs to sleep. She rocks her hips, grinding her pussy on my cock. I can feel how wet she is already, and I haven’t even touched her.

“Love, you need to rest.”

“Too empty to sleep,” she mumbles.

My lips tip up in a smile. “You need my cock inside you?”

“Mhm...”

“My sexy little cock warmer.”

“Mhm…”

I lift her slightly and guide my cock to her entrance. She sighs when I lower her onto it. She wiggles a little until she finds the perfect position, then promptly falls asleep. Even as exhausted as I am, I lie awake for a long time, just thinking about how lucky I am to have found Willow. She’s everything I didn’t realize I was missing in life, and I can’t wait to experience every day of the rest of it with her by my side.

EPILOGUE

WILLOW

It's been twenty-one days since Kisten bought me in an auction. I can honestly say they have been the best days of my life. After the night we raided Mecca and took out Yuri Ivanov and Damon Savada things were pretty tense. Especially since we gave the Italians the opportunity to capture Nolan Byrne. Seamus was pissed and declared war on the Italian mafia. He didn't want to believe that his son could be involved in something he himself had spent years of his life fighting against.

It wasn't until Kisten sorted through the records collected from Mecca, the mansion, and Yuri's home that we were able to show him proof of his son's treachery. There is a shaky truce between them now. It seems like the whole city is holding its breath, waiting to see what will happen.

Dominic Savada, the Don of the Italians in New York City, died ten days after he was told of his son's death. He wasn't angry. He even invited us into his home for dinner and to discuss business. Romeo Cassella, Dominic's successor, wants to join our efforts in searching out and annihilating human trafficking rings. Not just in the city but the country.

Many things have changed with Kisten's group since Nolan's betrayal. He disbanded the group at large, realizing there was too much opportunity for people to double-cross him. Now, it's only the inner circle we had at our backs that night, minus the Savage Knights. They left the next day with promises to help in the future if needed, but their home is in Texas. I was sad to see my biker friends leave. Though, not having to see Cutter's disapproving looks anymore was a relief.

I have plans with Shawn for sniper lessons when we get home from Vegas in a couple of weeks. I'm looking forward to it. Shooting has been a cathartic thing for me. I frequent the range, using the challenge to help quiet my mind. Most people would do yoga or meditate to find balance and peace—neither worked for me. I tried—shooting works.

Another thing that works is my playdates with Hera. We've been on three so far… I added three more trophies to my collection. I found out that Samuel Little is considered the most prolific serial killer the United States has ever seen. He said he murdered ninety-three people. Considering I have hundreds of men on my list, I could easily surpass that number. Though, I won't be getting caught. Not with Hera teaching me all her disposal techniques. Kisten hates when she pops in—which she does frequently—and hates it even more when she whisks me off on her sleek motorcycle. I fucking love the freedom of riding on it. I've been asking Kisten for my own, but he refuses to budge. Instead, he surprised me by showing me his Harley Davidson Softail.

Hera's Ducati is sleek and sexy, but Kisten's Harely is badass. The matte black makes it look like something the Grim Reaper would ride. Definitely not the White Knight's steed, but it perfectly suits my Dark Knight. Plus, the loud rumble and deep vibrations definitely earn the Harely bonus points. Even so, I want my own Ducati to ride alongside Hera on our adventures instead of behind her… maybe a lovely matte black to match Kisten's.

The car stops in front of a building I haven't seen in over six years. I spent so much time here as a kid. Memories of happy times flood my mind, and some of my anxiety abates. We've been in Vegas for less than twenty-four hours. The plan was to check into the hotel and relax, then we would visit my dad tomorrow. It only took Kisten an hour to decide it wouldn't work because I was an anxious mess.

The gym closed ten minutes ago, but I can't seem to get out of the car. My dad is there, and I don't know how this reunion will go. I've vacillated about what I will tell him about where I've been all this time. I hate the thought of telling him the truth because no father should have to hear that, but I'm sure he already suspects what became of me after I was taken. Gunner told me they found the men who took me and shut down their operation here in the city, but it was too late to track me down. I had already been sold, and they told Dad that six years ago.

"We don't have to do this now, beauty. We have all the time in the world. We can stay in Vegas for years if that's what it takes for you to be ready," Kisten says.

"You know I love you, right?"

He pulls my hand to his lips and kisses my knuckles. "And I love you more than life."

"Promise you won't leave my side?"
