Page 24 of Double Dare

Oh, I’m there. I push him back where I want him, and with one more brush of his tongue, I lose it.

Stress gone. The only thing I feel is pleasure and heat, and a strain in my eyes as I try to watch this whole show. For the first time in my life, Kade gets me off, and it is so much more powerful than I thought it would be. Dom and Liam fade to the background. My exhaustion takes on a new meaning, and my body comes back to life under Kade’s dominant demand.

“Fuck, Kade,” I moan, his name slipping off my tongue so easily.

He tenses all over when I call him by name, broadening his tongue to extend this already extended pleasure. When my ass settles on the vanity and my breathing switches from raspy pants to shallow breaths, he looks up at me from between my legs. There’s a second where his cockiness shines through, and then it’s replaced with a bashfulness I never expected to see on him. Maybe it’s guilt.

“Laken…” he starts, but I shut him up by pulling on his hair, bringing him between my legs and kissing him.

Through the strain in his kiss, I can tell his mind is spinning out of control. He wants to keep going, to do more. He wants to stop and respect Jed’s wishes. He wants to thank me for giving him a chance, and he wants to tell me how he feels about it all. He doesn’t do any of that. Instead, he palms my cheeks and asks me if I’m feeling better.

“So much better,” I laugh. “Jesus. I don’t know if I should compliment you and let it go to your head, or feel embarrassed that I’m that easy to read. The water on my skin hasn’t even dried yet.”

There’s that cocky smirk again. “Any regrets?” He pulls back, grabbing my wrists to pull me into a sitting position.

“No. None. You?” I take the towel he offers me.

“One,” he says. “I should have drawn it out longer. Made it last,” he laughs. “Now that I know what you taste like…”

I wrap the towel around my body and hop off the counter. “Mhm. Let me find out what you taste like.” I trail my fingers down his abs.

He grabs them, halting my descent. “Nope. Jed didn’t okay that.”

I lean against him instead. “We’re going to have to get better at talking if this is going to work. Permission shouldn’t have to be granted and accepted. We need to learn what we all want, and that’s going to take some conversations.”

“You and your damn conversations,” he complains. “We will. Are you sure you’re okay with all this?”

Is it hard to wrap my head around? Yes. Is it socially acceptable? No. Is it selfish and greedy? Probably. Am I going to get slut shamed if this ever gets out or we make it public? One hundred percent. “It feels right, don’t you think?”

Kade laughs against my wet hair. “Fuck, Laken, I am so far from being credible on wrong and right you shouldn’t even ask me.”

Fair point. But so am I. So is Jed. I like to look at it as a bonding experience.

When I accidentally-on-purpose press against his hard-on, Kade groans. “Fuck my good morals.”

I heat up a plate of leftovers and sit at the table with a bunch of the Dare boys. Immediately, questions fly around the table, asking me what’s up with Dom and why he’s being a cunt. Kolt’s words, not mine. When I hit my breaking point and tell them all to fuck off, I know the taunts are about to come.

“Jesus, Lakes.” Zahn backs away like I’m a loose cannon. “Jed leave before you got off? Forgot you’re so hostile while in need of a good fuck.”

I give him the finger. “I got off.” Hopefully they don’t dig for details because the three of us haven’t talked about telling them yet.

“Well, you need round two,” Hardin says. He massages my shoulders, insulting me while making me feel better. “I’m available, if you need some assistance.”

I sigh at the feel of his fingers pressing on my shoulders. “Actually, this might do it. Don’t stop. I’m close.”

“Yeah, give us that sexy moan, Lake,” Four laughs.

Hardin leans down, a soft kiss feathering against my temple. “I’m just saying, if this gets you off, Jed can’t be that skilled. Am I right?”

Kolt nods eagerly, like that logic makes perfect sense to him.

“Oh, fuck off, Kolt,” Bass scoffs at his twin. “You’d shit your pants if you got a shot at Lakes. Actually, you’d come in your pants before she even touched you.”

I laugh at Kolt because fuck, it’s fun to laugh at Kolt. He takes the brunt of all jokes, but he’s a good sport about it, and he dishes it back just as hard. While they’re all chirping at Kolt, Kade walks out with wet hair and a saucy grin. He heats up a plate and sits across from me.

“Didn’t you already eat?” Four scoffs at Kade, who ignores the question and digs in.

“Did you get her to talk?” Bo asks Kade as soon as he sits down.
