“Wasn’t my secret to tell,” I agree.

We watch the family for a bit, Jed’s hands wandering to my ass without him even realizing he’s doing it.

“What’re you two gawking at? Never seen a gay before?” Kade hands me a coffee with a dangerous grin.

“They’re hot together, right?” Jed agrees. “Manly. Like…I picture shit with Gar sometimes, and even though he’s manly too, he’s got that boyish thing about him, right? But Dom and Liam are all masculine and…yeah, hot.”

“At least he’s not into fem boys,” Kade says.

I punch him. “Don’t be a dick.”

“No disrespect to fem boys. Fuck, you know me better than that.” He rubs his arm. “I just meant that I don’t see any around town. He’d have to move away, and then we’d all have to follow him, and it’d be a shit show of Dares in the city, and I just can’t picture myself living in a city.”

“I watched fem boy porn once,” Jed adds randomly.

“I watched fem boy porn twice,” Zahn says, eavesdropping. “But yeah, agree with you, dipshit.” He tilts his drink at Kade. “I can’t move to the city. Glad he’s got someone here.”

“Wait, you’re into fem boys?” I ask all three of them. I mean, I’ve watched my fair share of gay porn, but it’s giving me a nice fantasy to think of these three watching it.

“Hasn’t everyone?” Zahn asks. “If it’s sexy, I’ll watch it. Hell, if it’s sexy, I’ll do it,” he laughs.

“Did the twins get an answer out of them?” Kade asks. “Tops and bottoms?”

“Go ask them,” Jed says.

“Maybe we let them settle before we get into the sex talk,” Rayne says, shoving Jed.

Kade looks at my coffee. “Make it right?”

“You already know you did. Thank you.” He’s such a harsh person that even his kindness is blunt. I grin at him. “How’d you know I’d be tired?”

He shrugs, sipping his whiskey to get out of answering. It means he knows how to read me outside the bedroom as much as he does inside the bedroom, and that means more to me than he’ll ever know.

“Come on, love.” Jed takes my hand. “You’ve earned a relaxing night.”

The drinks flow easily, and the conversation switches back and forth from banter to depth without anyone blinking an eye at it. When sex comes up and the Dares get their filthy mouths going, I give Liam an ‘I told you so’ look, and he shakes his head at me with a laugh on his lips. I warned him.

“Oh, fuck off, Ry,” Four gripes, wrapping his arm around Genevieve as he defends his antics against Rydan’s. “You’re just pissed you don’t get laid more than once a month.”

“At least my once a month is better than your…” Rydan pauses to look at Gen. “Cover your ears Gen. This only applies to the chicks before you.”

Bless her fucking heart, she covers her ears.

“Genny!” Kade yells. “Don’t ever listen to someone when they tell you to cover your ears. It definitely means you wanna know what they’re saying.”

Gen smiles at Kade, nodding. “Carry on, Rydan.”

Rydan laughs. “Whatever. You can bust my balls all you want, but one of these days, I’m gonna find the right person, then you’ll all be eating your bullshit words.”

Rydan gets harped on because he’s a bit more sentimental, soft, and emotionally deep than his brothers. I respect him for it; he just hasn’t found someone he connects with yet.

“Ry has class, like me,” Kolt says, a pinky raised.

Of course, that earns him a few hits and a bunch of insults, so I get up to refill my coffee and sit back down beside Liam.

“Surviving?” I ask him.

“What kind of family did you bring me to?” Liam laughs.
