“I can’t stop. You should know that by now, Ophelia.”
He began to thrust harder in me, rolling over so he could raise my hips up from the bed, his hands slipping under my nightshirt so he could tighten on my flesh.
It was simple primal urges that made my nipples harden and my skin flush to feel his hands on my breasts.
“How many can I get out of you this morning?” he murmured in my ear. “I want to test it out, see how many I can get before you can’t talk anymore.”
My arms were attempting to push him off me, but the fact that he was shirtless meant I was touching his naked skin, my hands on the thick bands of muscles across his shoulders and back. Muscles rippled under my fingers as I lowered my hand and my brother shivered.
“Touch me, Ophelia,” he ordered, and his voice was gravelly and rough.
I almost moaned at his tone, but suddenly there was a terrifically loud banging on the door and I heard Granny outside, rattling on the doorknob.
“The Great Balloon Race starts soon!” she yelled. “You two need to get up.”
I didn’t say anything and she rattled the doorknob even harder.
“Get up you lazy layabouts or I’ll take the switch to you both!”
Teddy’s teeth gritted together, but he allowed me to roll away from him, standing up only to stagger and sag against the bed.
Shit, I could barely walk!
I turned to glare at my brother but he only spanked my very sore ass and said, “Be a good girl and take a quick shower. I have to judge the Balloon Race and you’ll come with me.”
I wanted to bite his head off. What did I care about balloons when I was supposed to be avoiding a jail sentence? But I took one look at him leaning on the side of the bed.
Tall as fuck, handsome as fuck, bright blue eyes despite barely any sleep, perfectly rumpled blonde hair.
There was a smirk on his face, and I knew what it meant.
You won’t be allowed to go anywhere by yourself.
Chapter 13 (Teddy)
Louisville’s mayor Dr. Keyshawn Jenkins walked up to me as soon as I arrived at the Great Balloon Race.
