“What did you tell him?”

“I didn’t tell him anything. We didn’t speak. I thought about a whole heap of things and then got up and went back to bed. Alone, if you must know. I’m sure there are cameras in my room and your ex-girlfriend will review the footage for you.”

“She’s nothing. And she doesn’t owe me any favors.”

“Good to know at least one rumor is true. Were you ever gonna tell me?”

“Tell you what?” I wanted to kiss that smirk off his face. “That I fucked a couple of the crew before the auditions? Sydney is a small town. I was single. Didn’t cheat on anyone and didn’t lie to you, either.”

“No? Well, you’re still an asshole and a different type of cheat.”

“How’d you figure that?”

“How will anyone believe you deserve to be on this island? How would anyone think you’re the perfect man for me? As far as I’m concerned, you coming on this show by hooking up with Bree probably stopped my perfect man from being accepted.”

“That’s bullshit and you know it.”

“I didn’t tell Seb anything. I don’t know what your problem is, but I suggest you go back to your little harem of boobs and strategize away.”

“They bother you?” Kye dropped the attitude and faked genuine concern.

“No.” My response was as vehement as it was instant. “Given how little time we spend together, if they’re hanging around you, they won’t have time or opportunity to gang up on me.”

“Giving you more time to spend with Seb?”

If I didn’t know any better, I’d have sworn Kye had a dose of jealousy.

“How about you just tell me what he told you.”

“Apparently, he’s now officially your biggest fan. He came up when I was innocently having coffee with Kenzie and Sami. Next thing, my coffee has gone flying and he’s giving me a mouthful. Told me I needed to respect the hell out of you and tone down my fucking around. For the record, I haven’t fucked anyone since we arrived on the island.”

“Oh, and what shade are they? Asking for a friend, of course.”

Please, ask me to clarify. Please.

“What shade of what are what?”

“What shade of blue are your balls?”

Kye didn’t wait to answer. He closed what little distance there’d been between us. Then, he kissed me.

Out of the blue. Without warning or invitation.

Worse, I kissed him back. I matched his passion, needed to feel his desire for me. Not for the sexy goddesses out by the pool, but for me. He pressed his body against mine, giving me the full kiss experience. Out of the view of cameras, only our sucking and panting could make it to the editing room floor.

He kissed me. Kye could literally kiss any woman on the island—crew and cast alike—but he was kissing me.

“I’ll show you the shade of my balls if you tell me how swollen your pussy is when your fingers can’t do what you know I could.” Only a momentary break in his voice before his cocky swagger took over.

Damn. Me. To. Hell.

For the second time, Kye had sought me out and kissed me. For the second time, I’d kissed him back.

I could only hope the producers could edit the hell out of the conversation. If Seb had tried to pull Kye into line, good.

Although, if he stopped flirting, then I’d lose one reason to keep him at bay. If he stopped hanging around other women, then he might start spending time with me.

And five minutes alone in the bathroom had already proven I couldn’t trust what I’d say or do, when alone with Kye.
