While the other contestants swam, played, and joked around, Kye and I remained in our bed bubble. I left to get us dinner from the dining room, and was pleasantly surprised when I knew what he’d like.
I knew he’d prefer the bread sticks to snap apart and share, rather than the bread rolls. I filled his plate with the salmon and seafood salad, pouring the dressing on the side. I also selected the rich, date and pistachio meringue torte, knowing he’d indulge in dessert after pacing himself for the main meal.
I also selected an extra-large steak to join my salad, assuming Kye would finish what I couldn’t eat.
We fit.
We fit together and until I’d been forced to look after him for a day, I hadn’t realized how much.
No matter how close we snuggled, the single sheet hadn’t been enough as the night air chilled. I used one of my last chances to leave the bed, to hunt for a blanket.
“Sick of him, yet?” I hadn’t seen Bree standing in the doorway to the dining room. Holding a beer, she would have had full view of Kye and I on the bed.
“Is this for the camera?” Occasionally, the production staff pretended to care, off camera.
“Not at all. The two of you look, cozy.”
“I need to grab us a blanket. The sea breeze will send us both to bed with pneumonia if I can’t find one.”
“Would that be so bad?”
“Getting sick?” I couldn’t understand how us getting ill would make for good television.
“Being stuck in bed with Kye?”
“I can think of worse ways of spending a couple of days.”
“I never thought the two of you would last. I thought—” Bree trailed off.
“That you’d pick him up on his way out of town?”
“I thought that you’d be too smart to fall for a guy like him.” Bree shook her head with a bitter laugh. “I just didn’t count on him being smart enough to fall in love with you. Congrats, Elena. You’ve tamed Australia’s bad boy.”
I wanted to believe Bree knew Kye and I better than we knew ourselves.
I wanted to believe in Kye.

Australian Love Story Cast Leaks
We’ve found our favorite Love Story.
An arranged marriage couldn’t have matched this couple any better. Similar upbringings, shared values. They are the cutest couple on Lovers Island and there may even be talk of asking her father an important question. Yes, THAT question.
Although, I have to ask. Will our Italian stallion be willing to play second fiddle to his lady’s career?
You’ll read it here first. This is Danielle Stone from Wake Up Australia.
Kye
“Got a sec?” I asked Bree after our tent diary session. I knew breakfast would be waiting for me in the dining room to take back to Elena, but stolen minutes with Bree could change my life.
“I don’t have time for a quickie, Kye. Go back to your girlfriend.”
“No, no.” I couldn’t even believe how automatic my response came out. Almost as if this monogamy thing could become a habit.
“I need to talk to you. I’m here to make you an offer.”
