The way he says it makes my heart thunder in my chest.
“I’m not a boy. I’m a grown man. If anyone is a boy, it’s you.”
He leans forward and rests his head in his hands. “You can say good boy to me anytime. I’m all about it.”
I feel my hands start to tremble.
“I will not do any such thing.”
There’s a five percent chance I won’t.
He smirks at me and then leans back. He pops a fry in his mouth and watches me intently.
Even when he chews it’s sexy.
“So, what’s the plan after this? Any evening classes?”
I shake my head. “I’m just going home. What about you? Work?”
I shouldn’t have asked, and yet the words came out anyways. I want to know. I really fucking do.
“Yeah, just a few hours though, and then I can head back to my place. I have a lot of homework to do.”
We don’t say anything, just watch one another, tension crackling between us.
“You could always stop by and see me. The offer of another dance still stands.”
I clear my throat. “We said we’d keep this professional.”
“It sure is hard though.”
It is. It’s ridiculous.
“It’s not hard for me.”
It’s a lie. It’s hard for me. I’m hard.
Damn dick hasn’t gone down since sitting back down in this booth.
“You sure about that?” he asks, and I glance away from him, straightening my tie.
I’m not sure and I know he knows this. So I keep my lips clamped shut.
“Alright, I’ll let it go, for now.”
“Good. No more talking about this.”
I manage a small smile at him, completely false, and Everly waggles his finger in my face. “Got a seed in your teeth.”
“For fuck’s sake.”
I use my tongue to try and get it out, but it’s stuck. I need some floss. Or maybe I should just remove my tooth.
That seems viable. A great solution, actually.
“I have something in here,” Everly says, rummaging around in his bag, and then pulls out a flosser. I stare at it. It’s not even packaged.
“Has this been used?”
