Chapter 18
Katiana
I was surprised that Angel hadn’t slapped me yet. Mac had messaged Angel to let her know they were all on their way back. I had to see him and Kieran.
“You’re making me dizzy,” Angel said, lying on the bed as she watched me pace the bedroom floor.
I heard the bikes. They had left on foot before. I rushed through the apartment and ran down the stairs.
“Fucking hell, Kat. What the fuck?!” Reaper shouted as I slammed into his chest halfway down the stairs.
I didn’t care.
“You’re okay? Is everyone okay? Where is Kieran?”
“Yes, everyone is okay. Are we going to talk about you almost killing our child flying down these stairs?”
“No, we are going to forget that happened,” I said sagging in relief they were all okay.
I couldn’t ask about my dad because the other members were near the stairs.
“Kat!”
“Kieran,” I said and made to go past Reaper, but he grabbed my arm and took me down the stairs one by one like an invalid.
“Really?”
He clenched his jaw and shook his head at me.
“If anything is going to harm the baby, it's your massive cock smacking its head in,” I whispered in his ear before moving to hug my brother.
“Mum, can I ask you something in private?” I heard Reaper shout out to his Mum.
Sucker.
???
I couldn’t believe that my brother would become a Prospect for the Club. He hated MCs as much as I had. I had never been happier being with all this extended family of the Club, and Kieran was the cherry on top.
I was so glad it was over. My other brothers didn’t matter knowing they were being hunted was enough. It seemed like karma because I used to feel hunted by them. Kieran had told me what he saw, and I was grateful he had died a violent death.
There was still no word about our Mum. I kind of wished she had left the country and was living her best life, but knowing what I know about Demon, I highly doubted it.
“Why are you looking so sad?”
“Because my plate is empty,” I said, turning to Reaper and watching him get up to get me another bowl of Irish Stew.
There were several whip-lashing sounds around the kitchen, but by the time he turned to face us, everyone stopped.
“Very funny, you bunch of cunts. I can’t wait until it's your turn,” he said, glaring around the tables.
I covered my mouth to stop myself from laughing. My eyes went over every single person, and I swallowed. Angel was the only person looking back at me, and she gave me a beautiful wide smile and blew me a kiss.
This wasn’t just a Club.
They were family.
