“If it does, then so what?” Eye to eye with her, he stroked the side of her face. “Tell them your car didn’t start, tell them you ran out of fuel—it doesn’t matter. Driving away together isn’t professional negligence.”

“It won’t look good.”

“Listen.” His hand slipped to her nape. “They’ll have zero proof of anything unprofessional. Nothing but your exemplary record and I’m willing to bet dozens of glowing recommendations from happy clients. You’re overthinking again.”

“I suppose you’re right.” She managed a small smile. “It will be okay.”

“Of course, it will. Clients leave all the time, and I won’t mention how good you are in bed in my email.”

“Gee, thanks.” Her laughter sounded genuine; the sound heartening him. Things would be all right. They’d work this out and have the opportunity to enjoy each other. Cole’s instincts on these things were rarely wrong. “And you’re okay with all this?”

“All of what?”

“Me going to work tomorrow,” she started. “And tying up the loose ends?”

“Well.” He sighed. “I’d rather that you were here, naked and servicing my cock, but... I understand.”

“That does sound good.” Grasping at his robe, she eased the fabric aside, her slender fingers stroking his member. “How about the weekend, sir?”

“You should be careful what you wish for, little girl.” The feel of her flesh on his was electrifying. “Maybe I won’t let you go, after all?”

“I have some vacation time owed to me.” Edging closer to him, her grin was seductive. “Perhaps you could keep me prisoner then?”

“Fuck.” His lids flitted closed as his cock responded to her attention. “Promises, promises.”

“I’ll speak to Webber tomorrow,” she went on, her breath warm against his groin. “See if my next week’s appointments can be reworked.”

‘Next week?’ His eyebrow arched at the wonderful idea.

‘Yes, sir.’ Kissing the tip of his dick, she flicked her tongue around his swelling shaft. ‘Then you can teach me what it’s like to exist only as your thrall, and I’ll welcome your every command.’
