“We’ll hang out again tomorrow. You don’t have any classes, right?”

“No.”

“And we can have breakfast before I catch my flight.”

“Fine. Go.” She waves me off.

I stand and lean down to kiss the top of her head. “Be right back.”

By the time I head back towards the bathrooms, where it’s quieter, the call ends, and I get a text from Connor saying it was a false alarm.

“Dumbass,” I mutter.

I’m about to head back to the table when I see Ava step out of the bathroom. A wicked grin takes over my face. Before I can think better of it, I sneak up behind her and grab her. One arm around her waist to pull her back and the other over her mouth to smother her scream.

I quickly drag her around the corner out of sight, near the back door.

Pushing her up against the wall, I drop my hand and grin down at her. Her eyes are wide, and when she realizes it’s me, she slaps me across the face.

“What the fuck, Roman!” she hisses.

“Ouch.” I chuckle, reaching up to touch my stinging cheek.

“I’m sorry.” Her face goes white. “I-I didn’t mean to. You scared the shit out of me, that’s all. I thought you were going to kill me or kidnap me or something.”

“I did kidnap you. Over here where no one can see us.”

Her eyes widen, and she bites her lip as I push my body against her. My stiff cock presses into her lower belly. “Do you feel how hard that slap made me? Damn, Princess, maybe I’m the one who likes a little impact play.” I chuckle, running the tip of my finger down her cheek.

She licks her lips, her breath coming in shallow pants. “We should get back to the table.”

“We will, but first we need to talk.”

“Okay, let’s start with how you made me cum in front of your daughter, Roman. What the hell?!”

Okay, this feistiness is a big turn on.

“You were a very bad girl, Princess,” I growl. “I told you I’d punish you if you were naughty.”

“I didn’t do anything.” She narrows her eyes at me.

“You doubted my feelings for you.”

Her face softens, eyes darting between mine. “I-I didn’t mean to.”

“I need to ask you, Ava. Do you want me? Not just in the moment, not just for this week, but beyond it. Do you want something more after I leave here Sunday?”

Her breathing picks up, her eyes searching mine as if she thinks this is some sort of trick. “I shouldn’t,” she sighs. “There are so many reasons why we shouldn’t be together. You’re older, you don’t even live around here, and you have this whole other life in New York. But most of all, you’re the father of my best friend.”

“That doesn’t answer my question, Ava,” I urge her, brushing my thumb against her bottom lip. The one I want to suck into my mouth and bite down on. “Do you want something more to happen between us?”

“Yes,” she whispers.

A low sound of pleasure rumbles in my chest. “Then I need you to hear me, Ava. You are mine. We can deal with whatever obstacles come our way together. But you are my woman. I can’t let you go, not after having a taste of you. I don’t know what this hold you have over me is, but I’m just as much yours as you are mine.”

“Really?” her eyes light up, and my fucking heart melts. “This isn’t some kind of joke. You really want something more? With me?”

“I can’t imagine my life without you in it. Not after the time we spent together this week. I’d go mad without you. Tell me, tell me you’re mine.”
