“Shit, she got you talking about your mom and dad,” Warden said. “Not a dry eye in the house.”

“I wasn’t going for sympathy.”

“We know,” Ryder said quietly.

Evil’s phone buzzed as a text came in. “It’s Jules,” he said. “She saw the interview and said you looked great, and she still thinks Stan had something to do with Sarah’s death.”

“Smart girl,” Warden said.

“There’s room for doubt based on these newly connected killings,” Ryder said reluctantly. “It could be a serial killer. I hacked into the police reports. All the women were pregnant.”

“Fuck.” Evil banged his fist on the table.

“One husband and two boyfriends belonged to the Poconos Hunting Club. That’s where we should look next. I’ve got their names and addresses. They had alibis also, but no one used the club this time. One was working. One was on a plane. And another was in jail.”

“Jesus,” Warden said. “Maybe Stan did them all. We don’t know where he was when he disappeared. He could very well have been in all those places.”

“I’m making inquiries. We’ve got time,” Ryder assured them.

Sentinel shot her a grateful look. It was good to have her on his side again. Stan was going down. They just needed to see how black his soul really was.

“Plus you get to spend some quality time with Reporter Barbie.”

“Shut up,” Sentinel said as Ashley came back on the screen.

“Thank you for joining me tonight. I’ll be back next week with hopefully more information about the related killings. One thing all the murders had in common was this place.”

Onscreen, the Poconos Hunting Club flashed in a series of promotional shots.

“Next week I’ll be talking with owner Peter Reynolds and we’ll explore the connection further. This is Ashley Carver.”

“I guess the sniper is all yours, Ryder,” Sentinel said. “I’m going to Pennsylvania with Ashley. I need you to find me her address.”
