She nodded, and we dropped the conversation as Jordan came over with his parents and sat down.

The party was going smoothly so far. It was a pretty typical kid’s party with bouncy houses, balloons, and screaming kids everywhere. It felt like the whole pack had come out to celebrate their little alpha.
