I can’t help but feel annoyed and jealous.
Why would he act like this in front of a girl? She has to be an ex.
Does he love her? What kind of relationship did they have?
He has to still like her if he’s acting like this right?
“Haven’t seen you in a bit. Last I heard of you was at that party where you punched Trent. Heard it was wild. But I’m not surprised. Any party with you involved is always a show. I would know.” Alexa smirks and she turns her attention to me. She smiles widely. “Who’s this? New fling?” Alexa gives me a fake fucking smile that I want to punch off her face. “Look love, this won’t last long. These flings of his never really do-”
“Enough, Alexa,” Hayden says, cutting her off.
So this is Alexa?
“Why? Because it’s true? I mean you did that with me but then again you always came back.”
Hayden snickers. “You’re embarrassing yourself. In high school, you would always come back to me and I would just push you away. You acted like lice. The irritating kind that don’t get out of your fucking hair. Trust me when I say this, she isn’t like you at all.” Hayden looks at Luke. “Where is the dressing room I’m going to?”
“I’ll show you.” Luke makes his way out of the table.
“Cool.” Hayden stands up and grabs my hand.
I take my hand out of his and go to follow Luke.
Hayden pulls me against him, his lips touch my ear. “What did I fucking say about staying close?”
“Screw you.” I roll my eyes and continue to follow Luke while Hayden grips onto my wrist.
We go to the dressing room and Hayden closes the door behind us. There are already gloves, wraps, and shorts on the table.
“Go ahead and argue. I know you want to.” He says after I cross my arms over my chest and glare at him.
“Well you can’t expect me to be happy. You think I want to meet your ex and see you fight the guy who’s been stalking us?’
“First of all, Alexa isn’t an ex. She was just someone I would hook up with. She wanted more from me but I didn’t see her like that. All we did was argue and she would always be rude to Natalia. I never liked her.”
“Why didn’t you tell me about her?”
“Because I didn’t feel like telling my girlfriend, who I love to death, about a girl I couldn’t give two shits for.”
Hayden takes off his shirt and starts to take off his pants leaving him in his boxers. My eyes go down to his v-line because I love his v-line, even though I’m mad at him. It’s a weakness of mine. I meet his eyes and see him smirking.
“It’s not funny, stop laughing.”
Hayden walks towards me. “But I love it when you get all mad. Remember what I said about you?” Hayden leans down, his lips grazing my ear making me shiver. “Seeing you mad turns me on, princess.”
I force him away. “No, you’re not distracting me. What’s up with the fight with Eric?”
Hayden’s eyes darken. “You know why I want to fight him.”
“I just don't think you should try fighting Eric anymore. What's it going to do? You’re wasting your energy on him.”
“It gives me satisfaction to hurt him knowing all he wants to do is hurt you. What he deserves is for me to put him six feet under after spending hours taking my time killing him.” Hayden turns around and grabs the shorts, putting them on.
I sigh while looking at him. He sits down on the couch and grabs the wraps, starting to put them on. I walk towards him and kneel in front of him. His eyes fill with lust. I grab his hand and a wrap.
“Well, make sure not to get hit in the face too much. It’s your only good feature,” I tease.
Hayden grabs my chin with his other hand. “Don’t be a brat.”
