“Wow, so much for small talk,” I muttered. When his glare darkened, I hurried to add, “I didn’t have it on me. It was in the bathroom. I couldn’t get to it.”
“You could have used it when he left,” Blaze pointed out, coming to stand next to Daire so they both loomed over me.
Daire reached to drag a finger over the bruise around my eye, making me flinch. “It’s waterproof. Don’t take it off. Ever. Unless you’d like us to hold you down and strap a tracking device to you like a dog.”
Cash wandered over to the window to peer out. “Why didn’t you use it after he left? We’d have found him before he made it home.”
“I was in shock. I didn’t think about it. Sorry.” I hated hearing myself apologize to them. Like I acknowledged that I was their property. It was so fucked up.
Daire’s hand strayed down my cheek to my swollen lip. He ran his thumb over it, toying with my lip ring. “Why did you lie to Cash this morning when he asked you what happened? Why the hell would you try to protect a piece of shit like Zane?”
“That wasn’t my intent,” I insisted, resisting the urge to pull away from his possessive touch. “I was afraid you guys would kill him. I don’t want to protect him, but I don’t want him dead either.”
“We took care of him.” Sitting on the bed next to me, Blaze ran a hand through my hair. What started as a gentle caress became painful when he tightly fisted my locks. “Now we’re going to take care of you. We can’t let you get away with lying to us, Rainbow.”
I stiffened as fear trickled through me. My mind flashed to what they did to Raina. Is that what they planned to do to me? I wasn’t sure I’d survive that without a mental breakdown.
“I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to—”
Daire cut me off by placing a finger over my lips. “Disobedience has to be punished. How well you take it determines how far we go with it. Understand?”
Afraid to speak, I nodded. Maybe if I kept my mouth shut and took whatever they threw at me, it would be over faster.
I certainly didn’t expect them to start digging through my stuff. Cash went to the small dresser at the end of the bed and began rifling through my belongings. I opened my mouth to protest but closed it again when I caught sight of the warning glare on Daire’s face.
Cash pulled out a pair of striped rainbow knee high socks and held them up. “These could work.”
He tossed them to Blaze who caught them with one hand. Grabbing my wrists, Blaze tied one stretchy sock around them, tightly binding them together. With a wink, he pushed me down on the bed, looping the second sock through the first between my wrists and tying it to the wooden bed frame above my head.
“How’s that feel? Nice and tight?” Blaze grinned. “Don’t look so scared, Clover. You’re going to love it.”
“Check the desk,” Daire instructed. “We need tape for her mouth. We don’t want anyone to hear her scream.”
My heart began to pound as panic took hold. “Is that really necessary? I’m sorry. I won’t disobey again.”
Cash moved to the desk, checking each drawer. I didn’t have any tape in the room. I’d never had a use for it.
“Trust me,” Daire said, a dark glint in his green eyes. “It’s necessary.”
“No tape,” Cash announced. “Maybe we can stuff some panties in her mouth. Or a sock.”
Cash started to cross the small room back to the dresser. Daire stopped him with a head shake. “Not a clean pair. The panties she’s wearing right now.”
Daire stood next to the bed, watching with arms crossed as Cash grabbed hold of my pants and jerked them down. I wanted to beg and scream. Something told me it would only make things worse. A lot worse. So I bit my tongue until I tasted blood.
“Cute,” Cash commented as he eyed my polka dot underwear. Whisking them down my legs, he balled them up in one hand and rounded the bed to where my head was. “Open up, Sunshine. Unless you’d prefer a fight. I wouldn’t have a problem with that.”
I didn’t think I’d ever been as scared as I was right then. Not even when Zane was raging around my room and hitting me. There were three of them and one of me. I didn’t stand a chance.
As terror poured an overflow of adrenaline through me, I opened my mouth and let him shove my panties inside. There was something incredibly humbling about having one’s underwear stuffed into one’s mouth. My eyes rolled up in my head as I sought to avoid eye contact with any of them.
Blaze leaned over me, cupping my cheek. “Don’t check out on us already, Clover. We haven’t even started yet. Trust me, you’ll have the experience of a lifetime.”
A small whimper escaped me as Daire spread my legs. He took a good, hard look at my pussy. My face blazed hot with embarrassment. When he bent down to inhale my scent, I almost died.
“She smells good enough to eat, fuck, and anything else my imagination can dream up.” Daire’s hands were aggressive when he gripped my thighs, holding me spread wide.
“You know the rule, Daire,” Blaze said, giving Daire a shove.
