“Let me fuck you,” I whisper against her lips before her tongue wraps around mine, our kiss deepening, her needy fingers fumbling with the buttons of my shirt.
“We were drunk last night, it shouldn’t have happened.”
“I know, but we were inevitable,” I groan just as my fingers meet the apex of her thighs, her legs widening just as Jeff pulls up at the coffee shop and something in Bella snaps.
She shoves me off her and shakes her head from side to side.
“You’re married Henry,” she chokes out, as if she is gasping for breath.
And before I can even stop her, she opens her door and walks away from me leaving me with an aching heart and a rock solid hard on.
Brilliant.
CHAPTER SIX
BELLA
I will not be tempted by Henry Burnes and his beautiful cock, and killer smile, and his dirty mouth.
No. No. No. No.
I repeat this over and over as I walk into the coffee shop, Tate giving me a smile as he places the coffees on the counter.
“Cutting it fine today, girl,” he teases, and I flip him off as I hand him a note then pick the cups and her bagel up.
“Life saver as always,” I blow him a kiss as I walk towards the exit, and just as I turn I see Henry standing there. “Shit,” I mutter under my breath, but I stay calm and collected even though moments ago I was close to riding his cock like a cowgirl.
Shame slaps me across the face.
But the thing is, I don’t even feel bad which makes me a horrible person.
“Go away,” I mutter as I walk past, head held high as he gets the door for me as we walk along the busy streets of London.
“I don’t want to,” he rasps, walking beside me.
“Well, you have to,” I snap, stopping in my tracks and facing him. “She already thinks you come into the office for me, and this is the second morning this week you’ve turned up. You’re acting suspicious and we’re going to get caught out. It was fun Henry, it was hot as fuck,” I sink my teeth into my bottom lip as I replay the way he fucked me. “But it has to stop. I’m not losing it all because of one drunken night. I’m not yours, you’re not mine. Last night didn’t happen. Slate is wiped clean.” My chest aches and I hate it.
He says nothing, his sharp jaw is clenched, and his eyes are burning into mine.
“Goodbye Henry,” I give him a nod and I walk away, silently gutted that he actually listened.
Riding the lift, I inhale heavily as I walk towards Clarissa’s office.
“You’re late,” she refuses to lift her head up to look at me.
“By two minutes,” I answer back as I place her coffee and shitty bagel on her desk.
“It’s still late Bella,” her icy eyes cut to mine, my name squeezing past her lips dripping in fucking acid.
I sink my teeth into the inside of my cheek, refusing to bite back at her. She will not get a rise out of me today.
Turning on my heel, I walk out towards where my desk is and slump in my chair. I couldn’t wait for five p.m. to roll around, I was going to run out of here like a bat out of hell.
Drinks with the girls—bar Lily—is just what I needed.
“Bad morning?” Tom asks me, and I can’t even bring myself to speak. She drains me and I have been here five minutes if that.
“Mmhm,” I offer in response.
