“Was that as good for you as it was for me, Pix?” he says.
My mouth drops open in disbelief. How fucking thin are these walls? Jesus, this is a nice apartment complex. Did they just decide insulation wasn’t necessary?
“Did you really just listen to me?” I yell out.
“Kinda hard to miss, Hannah. You aren’t quiet.”
I have no response. I’m sure my face is incredibly red. Shame is burning my cheeks.
“Were you thinking of me?” Hottie calls out. When I don’t respond, he says, “That’s what I thought. Just so you know, I was thinking of you, too. And I can do much better in person than whatever you just fantasized about.”
Considering the harem of women he partied with last night, I have no doubt about that.
Luca
Jesus.
That was unexpected.
I was just gonna soak in my tub for a few minutes. Ran a little too hard this morning and my legs were sore. When I heard her filling up her tub, I stayed in mine. It was incredibly erotic, knowing we were that close together, naked in our tubs, with only a couple pieces of drywall between us.
Then she started moaning, and I lost my fucking mind.
I knew what she was doing. I was hard as a rock, thinking about her touching herself. Knowing she was thinking about me. Well, hoping she was thinking about me. I could tell when she was about to come because her moans began to crescendo. I couldn’t not go along for the ride.
Grabbing my dick, I only had to stroke a couple of times thinking about her. As I came, I threw my head back in bliss, only to knock over my phone, a bottle of beer, and a glass container of Epsom salts I keep next to my tub. Fortunately, nothing shattered. I’d have been more pissed about losing the Epsom salts than the beer. Epsom salts are great for muscle strains and when I’ve overused my legs.
Dead silence next door meant she knew I was listening. So I figured I’d test the waters. Every time she refused to answer, I knew I was correct. Which only made me want her more.
As she drained her tub, I made a mental note to track down the name of the construction company who built this building and send them a fruit basket or something. Because clearly they fucked up the insulation between our tubs, and I’m very happy about that.
Gingerly getting out of my tub, I put on some boxer briefs and then grab my foam roller. The foam roller is one of the only things I have to have with me at all times. It is instrumental in helping relieve muscle soreness and tension. I spend a few minutes loosening up my calves, then focus on my quads. It has become a ritual for me to do this before bed every night, no matter where I am. And hockey players are incredibly superstitious with our rituals.
My phone vibrates with a text message, and I automatically assume it’s a sibling. Most likely one of my sisters. My brother, Dom, isn’t really the texting type, and my other two brothers are typically really busy with their military careers. Leo is currently deployed overseas on a mission so secretive he wouldn’t even tell us where he was headed. Other than knowing the time zone, he’s given no details about his location. We don’t even know when he’ll return. While my parents are proud to say their son is an Army Ranger, I know they’re unbelievably stressed about all the unknowns. Our mom prays often that Leo will decide to end his enlistment soon.
Picking up my phone, I see it’s my sister Isabella.
Isabella: Are you ever coming home again, or have we lost you forever?
Me: Dramatic much, sis? I was home two weeks ago.
Isabella: I hardly saw you.
Me: I was there for a month. Not my fault you chose a career that has you in bed before dinner.
Isabella: You certainly don’t complain when you get fresh donuts.
Me: I’d enjoy the donuts just as much at lunchtime.
Isabella: Anyway, when are you coming home again?
Me: I don’t know. Training is ramping up again.
Isabella: Which is why you need to come home NOW. With Leo and Alex both gone, and Dom being his typical growly self, we need some more manpower around here. Dad hurt his hip again.
Me: Fuck. That’s like the fourth time this year.
Isabella: I know. You know Mom and Arianna just coddle him.
