“To not get on a commercial flight, I’ll kiss Trey,” he admitted.
That said it all.
Wynter stood.
“Then, let’s get going,” she said. “We won’t land until later, and I want to make sure my husband is okay. If he loses Lucian, he won’t be the same again.”
Julian understood that.
Their families were all intertwined.
Linking his arm through hers, Julian and Wynter headed toward the private jet terminal, and in that moment, he knew one thing.
He wasn’t dying on a commercial flight.

When Bodhi and Hailey entered the room, there was a woman waiting for them. Immediately, she headed their way, her hand out.
“You must be Doctor Carvil and Hailey Draper,” she said, shaking their hands in greeting.
“And you are?” Hailey asked.
She smiled.
“I’m, Jennie Smithson, your surprise. Your friends told me to give you this,” she said, handing the envelope to Hailey.
She took the time to open it.
As she read it, tears filled her eyes.
‘Hailey,
We love you so much, and we’re blessed that you’re part of our family. On top of that, you’ve given us a great guy to call family too. We got together, and we are giving you one of your gifts now. As a family, we wanted you to have the wedding of your dreams. We got you a wedding planner to help make this the easiest day of your life when you marry your handsome doctor. Relax, enjoy, and congrats on your wedding.
We love you.
The Littlemoon Investigations family.’
She looked up and Bodhi was worried.
“Are you okay?” he asked as she handed him the note, and he read it. When he was done, he wiped her eyes. “We’re lucky to have them as family.”
She nodded in agreement.
“So, my job is to make sure you get all of the things done on your bucket list,” Jennie said. “Starting with cake.”
Bodhi was excited.
