“Yeah?”
Her warm breath brushed against my lips. “Yes.”
“Feel free to bounce on it anytime you want.” And just like that, and very fucking fast, I kissed her.
A shocked gasp escaped her lips but was immediately swallowed by my eager mouth.
The fabric of her bodysuit was cold and foreign against my warm skin, but beneath it, I could feel the heat of her body responding to mine.
She shuddered against me and I opened my mouth more, letting her in further.
Fuck.
The world exploded around me.
Things that had been in my head disappeared within the heat of her mouth.
This woman was mesmerizing and exquisitely tasty like an expensive wine left in the cellars for a century only to be sampled by kings and queens.
Soon, she broke the kiss.
Mmmm.
Breathless, she whispered, “Is that your move to escape?”
“No,” I growled. “It’s not my move.”
She blinked.
My lips curled into a smirk as I brought my head back down onto the floor. “It’s a distraction.”
With those words, I lashed out with my foot, catching her unprepared and knocking her off balance. It was just enough for me to free myself from her iron grip.
Twisting and flipping our positions, I had her pinned beneath me now.
She looked up at me, surprise flashing in her distinct brown eyes for a moment before it was replaced with annoyance. “You're good.”
Her chest rose and fell as she struggled to catch her breath. The sudden vulnerability of the scene was too tantalizing to resist.
And I wanted to kiss her more.
In fact, I wondered how she tasted all over, not just her mouth, but her flesh, those breasts, the sweet center between her legs.
I stared down at Onyx, my body still tingling from our brief, fiery kiss.
Her eyes locked onto mine, and for a moment, we were suspended in the lusty tension between us.
But then her expression hardened.
“You might as well give up,” she whispered. “My boss is on his way. Even if you kill me, you’re dead.”
Before I could respond, an explosion rocked the boat.
What the fuck was that?
