“Never apologise for making us lose our control to you,” Isaiah sighed.

He lifted his mate off of his brother while Ash slipped one hand into her hair. He gently tugged her lips to his while his free thumb replaced Isaiah’s fingers on her clit. With Ash distracting her, Isaiah pushed his cock into her. Even though she’d already taken Ash so well, he took his time, stretching her from a new angle.

“Mhm… so good,” he groaned against her spine, slowly pushing deeper. “Take Ash’s dick in your hand, little luna.” She ripped off the condom, doing as she was told and coaxing a drop of precum from Ash’s slit. “You listen so beautifully.”

Once he’d given her time to adjust to him, he increased his pace. She was hot and tight around him, and each time Ash applied more pressure with his thumb she contracted around Isaiah’s cock even more. Just like Ash, he knew he would be coming far too soon for his liking, but he kept going. Ash ate up her moans while he worked her clit and drove her to her climax. Vel’s body clenched around him and she arched her back into each of his thrusts, making it nearly impossible for him to hold off.

They found a rhythm, their hips slamming together with each move while she fisted Ash hard and rough—just the way he liked it. She was so close and they both knew it, only keeping it together so she would finish first.

After minutes of agonizingly sweet torture, Vel trembled between him, her orgasm rippling through her body. She dropped her head to Ash’s shoulder while he quickly reached between them to slip on another condom. Isaiah felt her walls contract around him which sent him right over the edge with her. He stiffened above her as he filled the condom, rope after rope of cum spilling from him—he didn’t think it would ever stop.

Though the moment it did, he lifted Vel’s hips and lowered her onto Ash’s cock once more. She bottomed out in one smooth move, milking Ash’s release right out of him.

“Fuck,” Ash groaned, wrapping his arms around Vel as his thighs quivered.

Isaiah rolled off and collapsed next to them, his body no longer able to support him. “Shit, that was fucking amazing,” he panted, trying to catch his breath.

“Mmhmm…” she hummed in agreement, her lips twisting into the sweetest grin.

Isaiah tied off his condom, reaching for a few tissues to wipe up with before Ash shifted Vel into his brother’s arms. She was hot and sweaty, her breathing only slowly calming.

“You did so well,” Isaiah praised as he ran his fingers soothingly through her hair.

Her arms curled around Isaiah’s waist as her head turned to where Ash was cleaning himself.

“Do you want us to wash you?” Isaiah asked, running his nose through her hair.

Vel shook her head and tried to control her breathing. “Just a little longer.”

“You can cuddle as long as you like.”

Isaiah shifted them both to lay down while Ash threw the blanket over all three of them and curled into her back. She slipped off Isaiah’s chest, laying between her two men and closing her eyes. It only lasted for a few minutes before she climbed out of bed and went to the bathroom to clean herself up. By the time she came back, Isaiah and Ash were already drifting off to sleep, settling deeper into their slumber with the warmth of her body between them.

Chapter Forty-Four

Velora

Velora had a sickening feeling in her stomach.

One that only worsened as she walked alongside the twins to the river. The three of them had barely spoken all morning. The two brothers coordinated their outfit before Asher had helped Velora choose one to match.

She didn’t want to be there. Not only because of her feelings towards Ely, but because she wasn’t sure she could mask them with the whole pack present. Of course everyone knew they hadn’t been getting along but as luna, she had expectations to fulfil. She was expected to mourn the life lost, but the only thing on her mind was the fact that he’d escaped punishment.

Velora wasn’t sorry—she was angry that she couldn’t contain her feelings.

Asher held his hand out in front of her, his fingers spread wide. Velora took a deep breath, counting to seven before exhaling and taking his hand in hers. His touch instantly calmed her swirling mind, and she hooked her other arm into Iasiah’s elbow. Adding his touch into the mix helped lower her stress level enough to school her features.

Only Ely’s family awaited their arrival, his body laying on the pyre still covered in the black silk.

At the sight, Velora’s blood froze in her veins. Her lungs refused to fill with air. The last time she’d been there had been at her parents’ ceremony. She’d watched their bodies burn and with the smoke that rose into the air went every bit of comfort she’d ever felt. She hadn’t known then that it was just the beginning of a long, torturous fight that she still battled decades later.

Her steps faltered, and the twins turned their worried eyes to her. She didn’t give a damn about reputation or her duties as luna in that moment. All she wanted to do was turn and run. She didn’t want to be there. She didn’t care about those people. Fuck, she’d only just begun to care for Asher and Isaiah and they were her mates.

Movement caught her eyes and she turned to see Lisabeth approaching them, tears creating tracks down her cheeks. She looked pale and the grief in her eyes was haunting. Velora’s eyes glued to her as she stopped just a few feet away from them.

“Luna,” she whispered, her tone filled with respect and so much love it sent chills down Velora’s spine. “It’s alright. He wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.”

It dawned on Velora that Lisabeth thought her reaction was guilt over her son’s sacrifice. She slowly nodded, trying to find words that would encourage those thoughts but came up blank.
