“We present to you Velora—”

“Luna of the Crystal Wolves,” Isaiah and Asher announced in proud unison.

The pack erupted in cheers while the wolves started singing cheerful songs to welcome her. Carrie and Luka were the first to pull her into a hug and congratulate her. Then came Axel and Larissa, who were a little more distant than the other two. Velora, for one, was happy not to exchange pleasantries. After just a few short words they stepped aside to see Gemma offering up her coat with a hesitant smile.

Now that everything around her seemed to quiet, the icy air seeped through her clothes. She quickly walked over to Gemma, who met her halfway. “Thank you. I didn’t even feel cold until just now.”

Asher quickly took the garment off Gemma’s hands and helped Velora slip her arms through the sleeves.

They stayed with the pack a little longer, letting some of the children run their hands over the crystals in the dress or the fur on her coat. Silvia, of course, had to show face as well—about as sweet as a knife slicing through flesh. She had her fake smile on and pretended to be closer to Vel than she was.

After a little while, Asher nudged her towards the path that led back to the village.

‘We’ve shared our luna long enough,’ Isaiah explained when he felt her confusion.

‘Don’t you think that’s a little rude?’

Asher snorted into the bond. ‘We’re alphas—we can be rude all we want, what are they gonna do about it? Gossip behind our backs?’

‘How horrifying,’ Isaiah laughed, taking her hand in his.

‘Plus, we can feel that you’re getting cold even with that coat on.’

‘And the big bad alphas aren’t cold at all?’ she teased.

Asher nearly burst out into a loud laugh, though Velora didn’t miss the shiver that passed through his body. ‘That’s confidential information.’

Chapter Fifty

Isaiah

At home, they helped Vel out of her coat and Ash was the first one to drop to her feet and untie her boots.

“You should try it some time,” Ash suggested.

“I thought you were her puppy.”

“I wouldn’t mind having two puppies.”

He grinned down at her and kissed her cheek. “I’m sure you wouldn’t.”

As soon as she was out of her boots, Ash tugged on the fleece leggings that kept her warm.

Kicking his own boots off and dropping his jacket, Isaiah placed himself behind her and lowered the zipper on that beautiful crystal dress. “I think Ash has the right idea. Let’s get you out of these cold, uncomfortable clothes and get you all warm and fuzzy, shall we?”

Vel didn’t answer verbally, but her blood rushed through her veins. Her mind melted for his words, the tingling heat she felt between her thighs so present in his own it made his mouth water. He loved feeling her so near to his mind and soul, Loved how he knew what she needed.

The dress slowly slipped down her arms and revealed the skin toned bodysuit underneath it. He unzipped that too while Ash caught the dress before it hit the floor. Holding on to Ash’s shoulder she stepped out before Ash carefully picked up the pooled fabric and laid it on the dining table. They both helped her out of the tight sleeves before tugging it over her breasts and stomach. Isaiah’s cock already throbbed, but when the white lace beneath was revealed, it became painful.

“Such a tease,” he hummed with a kiss to her neck.

“I see why we weren’t allowed to come with you to Swiftport.”

“Please don’t rip these.”

“Then why don’t you remove them for us, little luna?”

A nervous excitement trickled through her mind—but with it came so much anxiety about doing the right thing that it nearly broke his heart.
