“Yeah. Fine. Sure,” he rambled. “Sorry, I’m late. Dane and I got to talking and then when I got back to my room, I was…busy.”

I knew what that meant. Sexy images of Kayden playing with himself, pushing that dildo in his ass, made my cock fill.

“Are you going to stand out in the hallway all night or come in?” I teased.

Kayden swallowed hard and nodded, but he didn’t move. The big guy was nervous. I shouldn’t find it cute (God, I can’t even believe I said that word…), but he was. I stepped aside, and he wandered into my room, setting his bag down and shoving his hands in his back pockets. I shut and locked the door.

“You really ordered pizza,” he blurted out.

I chuckled at his surprised expression. “Yeah, of course. Because you’re always hungry. You want a slice?”

He shook his head. “No. I’m too fucking nervous to eat.”

I stalked up to him and slid my arms around his waist, pulling him in tight. Kayden was hard all over, but it wasn’t just his muscle tone. He was rigid, tense. And that wouldn’t do.

“Relax,” I whispered as I reached up and gave him a reassuring kiss. “We don’t have to have sex.”

“But I—” Kayden paused and licked his lips. “I prepped for it.”

“That’s hot as fuck,” I admitted. “But we’re only going to do it if we’re both ready.”

“I am. I want it. No, that’s not right. I fuckingneedit. But, also, yeah, anal is…a lot. And I’m pretty sure that dildo is no match for your cock.”

More filthy images bombarded me, but I summoned my control. Soon enough.

“Don’t feed my ego,” I quipped and drew back. “Now sit, eat pizza, pop an edible—one—and chill.”

“Uh, okay.”

Kayden looked around my room like he was afraid to sit down.

“We’ll save the fucking for another night,” I reassured him. “Or day. I’m too tired.”

I wasn’t, but I didn’t want my boyfriend to be any more freaked out than he was. Or I was. Not about the fucking, but the fact I used the word ‘boyfriend.’

“You mean, not at all?”

Kayden nearly shouted the words, like I’d shocked him. I bit back a laugh. At least my comment got him out of his head.

Wandering over to my desk, I grabbed the pizza box and placed it on my bed. Then I pulled out my baggie of edibles, grabbed two, and wandered over to offer Kayden one. He popped it in his mouth, and I did the same.

“Coke or water?” I offered. “That’s all I’ve got. Well, tequila, but I know it’s not your favorite.”

“Coke.”

He sat on the bed, worrying his bottom lip.

“Baby, you need to stop thinking about it, okay?”

We stared at each other in shock.

“Wait, what did you call me?” he asked.

“Uh.” Shit, now I was the one who was nervous. “Just eat the damn pizza already.”

Kayden slid his hand around my waist.

“Nope.” I tried to pull back. “Not happening.”
