“What…?” I asked.

Fen was stoic and serious when he said, “We need to talk.”

ANAIS

Hadthey found out about my mother? I didn’t think Harmonia would tell them without my permission, but… what else could this be?

“Every five years,” Fen said, “on the second weekend in November, Empyreans hold a conclave, a gathering, where they discuss matters and work out disagreements in a neutral forum. This year it’s in New York.”

I blinked. Of all the things they could have said, I’d never have guessed that.

“And…?” I prompted with a shrug. I didn’t know what this had to do with me. Yes, I was a goddess, but did Ihaveto go to this thing or could I just skip it?

The three of them looked at each other.

“And… it’s a big deal,” Grey said slowly. “Also, if you want to meet a lot of gods and daemons, in hopes of figuring out who your parents are, there won’t be a better time or place.”

“Ah.” So Harmonia hadn’t told them of her revelation.

They thought I was still looking… and I was… but only for my father now. My father… who might have all the answers and know why I’d been hidden away from the world.

Okay, now I was interested in this conclave thing.

“How does one get invited?” I asked.

“As long as you’re an Empyrean, you’re in,” Ramsey replied. “We just wanted to let you know so you could prepare.”

“Prepare?”

“Your control of your powers has come a long way, but you still… leak occasionally,” Fen said with a shrug. “We want to help you make sure you come across as in control and powerful. That means you have two weeks to lock down your powers and become the regal goddess all three of us know you are.”

I smiled.Hell yeah, I am!

I turned to Grey. “We can also use that time to get your void under control if you like.”

He nodded. “Yes, thank you.”

“For that matter, both your chaos—” I said to Ramsey, then turned to Fen, “—and your beast seem to have been coming out a lot. Do you need more control?”

“Probably,” Fen admitted.

Ramsey just grunted.

We all considered that for a long moment before Ramsey said, “As daemon princes of the host city, a lot of the preparations for this event are falling on us. We’re going to be very busy over the next little while and may not be around much. That’s the main reason we’re telling you all this.” He grinned. “Because… we’re all free tonight.”

I instantly warmed, a low simmer of heat thrumming through me at the thought of another night with my three guys.

“Oh?” I breathed.

“Though, I do want some alone time with you,” Ramsey admitted.

“I don’t care,” Fen said with a shrug. “I’m good with alone or with others.”

Grey gave me a smile that spoke volumes:I’ve already pleasured you plenty today, but I wouldn’t mind more.

I shivered with anticipation. I absolutelylovedwhen all three were with me at the same time.

Hopping to my feet, I said, “One sec, boys.” Going to my wallet, I grabbed all the cash I had, then raced downstairs to find Reia and Caia.
