She nodded. “Yes, so badly. Do you?”
“Never wanted anything more in my entire fucking life,” he said through gritted teeth, and he meant it.
He tore open the wrapper and rolled the condom down his shaft while she eyed him greedily. Kissing her deeply, he bent to lie on top of her, resting his weight on one elbow while hebrought his other hand between her legs. Pumping a finger into her core once, he found her impossibly wet and ready for him.
He lined himself up and pushed in, just the tip. They both groaned. Slowly, agonizingly slowly, he withdrew and then pushed into her again, inch by inch, hanging onto his self-control by a thread. By the time he was fully seated inside her, they were both breathing heavily.
James stilled and brought his forehead to Liana’s. “You good?”
“Amazing,” she replied quickly. “You?”
“Already the best sex of my life.” He knew, somewhere in his brain, that he was coming on too strong, but she felt too good, and he couldn’t get himself to give a fuck about anything but the feel of her pussy around him, the sight of the beautiful girl laid out underneath him.
Sparing her the obligation to answer his too-honest admission, James brought his lips to Liana’s and kissed her soundly as he started to move in her, slowly at first, noticing the way Liana’s breath caught with each thrust. Damn, he needed to focus on something else, or he was going to come in ten seconds, like a teenager.Think about anything other than Liana. Think about… sports. Pickleball? No; Liana plays pickleball. A different sport? Baseball. Yes, baseball. With each thrust, James tried to name a Marlins player. Unfortunately, he quickly ran out of players to name, despite having just been to a Marlins game days before.
Giving up on distracting himself, James gave in fully to the feel of being in Liana. Nothing ever felt so good physically, it wastrue, but more strikingly, he’d never felt so connected to another person.
“You’re perfect, baby,” he whispered between kisses and thrusts. “So beautiful. So sexy. So wet for me.” She felt her hums of pleasure against his lips as he spoke.
He moved faster now, and she met him thrust for thrust, the sounds of their skin slapping together. One hand roved over her, exploring that beautiful body tight beneath him. She encouraged him, telling him how incredible he felt in her as she roamed her hand across his abs, his back. He thumbed her nipples, palmed her ass, grabbed her hip to angle her just right. She wrapped her leg around his back, pulling him in impossibly deeper.
“Fucking incredible,” he said through gritted teeth. “Nothing — ever — felt so good.”
“James!” she cried, and he brought his thumb to her clit now, rubbing circles as she whimpered, her pussy spasming around him. “I think I’m going to… Oh, God —”
When she clenched around him, James finally let his self-control snap, giving into the pressure building at the base of his spine. It was too good, too much. Pumping into her one, two, three times, he spilled inside her, and he would have sworn he saw stars as he came.
He pressed his forehead softly to Liana’s as they both came down, breathing in each other’s air, their panting breaths slowly fading. After a few moments, the roaring heartbeat in his ears died down. He pressed a chaste kiss to her mouth, then one to her cheek as he slowly pulled out of her. He stood up, quickly discarded the used condom in the small trash can under his desk, and then immediately returned to the bed.
He grabbed for the tangled sheets and pulled them up over himself and Liana, tucking Liana into his chest. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed the top of her head. “How are you doing?” he asked.
“I’m great,” she said. “You?”
“Never been better.” He rubbed circles on her bare back, feeling his dick, impossibly, already stirring at the feel of a naked Liana in his arms.
“James?” Her voice was hazy.
“Mm hmm?”
“That was amazing for me, too.”
“Good. Because give me a few minutes, and then we’re going to do that again.”
Chapter 23: Liana
“So, this is your room, hmm?” Liana said when they cuddled in bed a while later, taking in the beige tufted headboard of his queen bed, the nightstand, wardrobe, and desk that looked like they had all come as a set from Crate & Barrel. “It’s nice. I knew you’d have a headboard.”
He furrowed his brow, seemingly unsure if she were mocking him.
“It’s a good thing,” Liana assured him. “Some guys our age are man-babies and just sleep on a mattress on the floor. One time, I went over to the apartment of a guy I was seeing. He literally had a bare mattress with a blanket thrown on top. No sheets. I turned around and left right then.”
James grimaced, looking disgusted that anyone would find that acceptable.
“I’m just saying,” Liana continued. “You have your shit together. You say your life is a disaster, which I disagree with as a whole, but I think you shouldn’t lose sight of the little things. Like the fact that you have a headboard, and your apartment is super nice and well put together.”
“Thanks,” said James. “I’m really glad you like it.”
“I really like you, James,” she replied quickly, repressing something deep inside herself that said she more than liked him.
