“I’m sure,” she said. “I wouldn’t have said it, let alone done it, if I wasn’t.”
Rather than put her down on the bed, Dane’s hands came around her ass and spread her wider on his hips, found her wet heat and then nudged his way into her.
They stood there like that, him fully inside and not moving. Just letting them each feel the other skin-to-skin for the first time.
He turned and sat on the edge of the bed, her legs still wrapped around him, but now they both had a better perch.
The gravity of her hips off the bed though pulled her down and forced her to lift up, in the process of moving forward and back on him.
“Do that again,” he said.
“I hadn’t planned on that move but glad it found me.”
“Just like we found each other,” he said, his mouth crushing hers.
She loved they always kissed so much when they were together.
For some reason it just meant a little more to her. To take that time and give her something she enjoyed.
Their hips were moving forward and back, their tongues dueling even faster.
It kept her quiet knowing the kids were in the house but far enough away.
Dane’s hands went to her hips and had a firm grip on them, his fingers almost biting into her, and she was fine with that. It just let her know how much he was aroused.
Their skin was slapping against each other and working up a sweat, but the minute she started to come she forgot all about any of that.
He stood up and thrust into her harder and deeper andall she could do was hang on and take it, telling herself there was nowhere else in the world she’d rather be than in his arms.

FINISH THIS CONVERSATION
The following Sunday, Mel dropped the kids off at his house. He offered to pick them up, but she said no, she wanted to talk to him.
They hadn’t talked much lately in person. Their exchange days had been during the week and the kids would get picked up after school. Last Saturday, Mel dropped the kids off and just waved as she drove off. He normally did the same.
“Kids,” he said. “Why don’t you go upstairs and play while Mom and I talk?”
“Can we watch a movie?” Tyler asked.
“Yes,” he said.
He and Mel went to the kitchen in the back of the house. The kids wouldn’t hear them unless they were yelling. More so over a movie as the kids were allowed to have the volume up higher for that.
“Don’t you think it’s a little early to have your girlfriend’s kid spending the night with Tiffani?” Mel asked.
He frowned. Guess Tiffani shared that. “No,” he said. “I’ve been dating Sloane for over four months. The kids hadmet her. They ask about her all the time. They met Shiloh. Tiffani is the one who asked if Shiloh could stay the night. She brought it up.”
“She wouldn’t do that,” Mel argued.
“She did,” he said. “I’m not lying and not sure why she would either. Did you ask her who brought it up?”
Mel stopped for a second. “It doesn’t matter,” Mel said.
Which meant it wasn’t asked and his ex was just assuming things. “What is going on?” he asked. “I haven’t said anything to you, but I’m going to because you brought this up wanting to talk.”
“What does that mean?” Mel asked, frowning.
