There was no point in me trying to calm my nerves in preparation to face Rags, so I just walked in and felt my whole world crumble a little more when I saw Remi sitting on his goddamn desk wearing something meant for a fucking strip club.

Both she and Rags looked over.

The rage I saw in his eyes was nothing compared to the rage I felt in my bones, of that, I was sure.

Remi laughed. “Wow, too much partying this weekend? I told you to stay away from the big guys. Tiny dicks, lots of rage.”

I headed for the first row, knowing full well I wouldn’t be able to make it up those steps. “Cleaning lady fucked up the carpet, I fell down the stairs and dad fired her.”

“Blame the booze,” Remi sang.

“Remi, shut thefuckup,” Ash snarled, running down the stairs. “Em, what the fuck happened?” she breathed out, taking my chin as soon as I took my seat and folded my desk down.

I jerked my chin out of her grip, a mistake honestly, the pain shot down my spine in waves. “I’m fine.” I stated, letting my bag fall to the ground.

“You’re not fine. What the fuck?” She straightened and spun on Rags. “What are you fucking doing?”

I rolled my eyes and leaned back in my chair, everything sore. I should have just dropped out. “Don’t bother, Ash, let him fuck her. I’m sure the manufactured pussy will be the best one he’s ever had.” A low blow, but seriously? I stopped texting his ass for two days and he crawled back to her? At this point, it was easy to shift the sorrow into rage, but tonight? God, I was fucking pathetic. I had let him get in my head. I let him in. Just like he wanted, but I didn’t put out, so he found a plastic pussy instead.

Typical.

Ash turned back on me, her anger shifting. “Don’t talk like that.”

I glared at her, although she couldn’t see it.

“Em, she walked in a second before you did, stop acting as if—”

“As if what? As if I’ll ever look like that.” I jutted my chin towards Remi. That was also kind of low. Despite my appearance, I did like my body. I liked the way I could wear certain things perfectly. I liked that my breasts were the perfect size to fill a large hand. I liked that my curves were mid-size. Not thick or slim, but right in between, but I was angry, and I knew it would piss both Ash and Rags off hearing me say it.

Just as I hoped, his eyes shifted into something feral. He stood, forcing her to fall back on his desk. “Get out.”

Remi scoffed. “What? We were just about to have fun.”

“Listen to meverycarefully you self-righteous cunt. I will never fuck someone like you. Stop asking me like the desperate whore you are and get off myfuckingdesk or I swear to whatever fucking God you people believe in, I’ll put a bullet between your eyes.”

For the first time since I met her, Remi actually looked terrified.

She slid off the desk, cowering until she got a few feet away from his deadly snarl. “The Headmaster will hear about this. You can’t threaten your students with a gun.”

“Go fucking tell him,” he snapped, and turned his eyes to Katelyn and Cam, who were sitting a row across from me. I hadn’t even seen them. “Leave.”

They grabbed their things, jogging for the door.

He followed after them, a paper in hand, and locked the door behind them. He taped the paper up and pulled the blinds down.

Well look at me, getting class shut down for the day. Go me.

If class wasn’t in session, I certainly wouldn’t be hangingaround.

I pushed my desk up and grabbed my bag.

“Don’t you dare,” he threatened before I had the chance to stand.

I lifted my eyes, glaring at him with every ounce of hatred I held close to my heart. “I don’t need your help.”

“Look me in the eyes and tell me that,” he stated coldly. “Maybe then I might believe you.”

Ash stepped to the side as Rags stopped in front of me, crouching down to look up at me as if I were a child. “Take your glasses off.”
