What had I done to myself?

Grey’s hand tightened around mine, but I couldn’t look away as they began to sift through everything. A moment later, he stepped in front of me, pulling my hand up until my fingers grazed his cheek, my eyes finally locking with his. He pressed my hand against his face, leaning into it, warming my hand from both sides. “You’re drowning, baby. Take me with you.”

My eyes burned as I swallowed, glancing towards the garage and back again. “Um,” I cleared my throat and shook my head, trying to make sense of what was happening. “I just…I don’t think that I’ve…that I’ve dealt with it. It’s starting to feel as if…” My breathing started to waver, my heart picking up.

He slid my hand over his mouth and kissed my palm, keeping my eyes locked on his. “Do you remember the night we slow danced in the haunted hall? Terry was probably watching us with his cock in his hand.”

I blinked, so taken off-guard by the sentence, my mind sputtered. “He’s…he’s…no, he’s gay.”

He smiled against my palm, the feeling sending shivers down my spine. “I know, he was watching me.”

I gaped, my face burning.

He flicked the tip of his tongue across my palm before finally pulling it away, that smile so bright and warm, I felt it in my very soul. “Think of that while I help the girls pack.”

My brows lifted. “Think of us slow dancing?”

“No,” he said, taking a step back, his hand lingering in mine until he was too far away to reach. “Think of Terry jerking off to me kissing your neck.” He winked at me and turned away.

I was left standing there with parted lips and surprisingly wetunderwear. What. The.Fuck.

I smeared my lips together as Ash passed by me, a few boxes piled in her hands. “You okay?” she asked, taking me in. “You look like you’re overheating.”

That only made it worse. “Fine,” I mumbled and headed for one side of the driveway, just to get out of the way. God, that wink.

My eyes fell to my hand where the wind nipped at the slightly damp skin in the center of my palm.

I had a sudden urge to do something terrible.

I bit my lip, eyes lifting to Grey as he picked up a rather large box and headed out of the garage.

His eyes caught mine, curiosity filling them.

I looked to my palm and back to him.

He had slowed in his walking, his brow furrowing.

Are you okay?

Don’t fucking do it.

Don’t.

Please don’t.

I lifted my palm up to my own mouth.

He stopped abruptly his eyes widening.

Slowly and in a dazed state, I flicked my tongue over the spot his tongue had just been, my stomach filling with butterflies as my mind tried to process what the fuck my body had just done. Now, it didn’t taste of anything but my own skin, and it was just cold, as if I had dusted water onto it and was licking it off. But his expression?

That’s what was doing me in.

“Hey, you okay?” Ash asked, rejoining him.

He blinked a few times and turned to her, not registering who she was for a few moments before he shook his head. “Yes,” he said.

I shoved my hand to my side and quickly turned away before he could look me in the eyes again. What the Hell had that been?Desperation, that’s what that was.
