“Can we keep her?” Marlow says and everyone laughs.

“I already knew I loved you,” Scarlett says, “but that list of snacks just solidified it.”

“Same!” Ruby says.

“I didn’t even know Reese’s popcorn existed, so you had me right from the start,” Sofie says.

I laugh and Felicity puts her arm around my shoulder and leans her head against mine.

“This is gonna be the best weekend. I don’t think we need to add anything to the stash. You thought of everything,” she says.

“It’s the very least I can do. You guys put this trip together so fast, and I could not be more grateful. Besides sounding like the exact kind of fun I need, hanging out with all of you, you’re helping me out with the whole wardrobe thing.” I make a face, and they laugh and Ruby shakes her head.

“Your clothes are fine. It’s impossible to not be caught at a bad angle occasionally, but I’ve got some tips I’ll be sharing to avoid that,” she says, grinning.

“Should we get on the road?” Felicity says. “Oh, wait.” She pauses and pulls a black American Express out of her purse, waving it in the air. “Weston says this weekend is his treat, and I have specific instructions thatyouare not to pay for a thing.” She grins, pointing at me.

Everyone cheers and I stare at her in shock. I start to shake my head and she mimics me.

“Nope, there’s no getting out of it.” She laughs.

“That’s a good man right there,” Scarlett yells. “Let’s get this party started.”

“Woohoo,” I say weakly, and Caleb tries to say it afterward, which makes everyone so happy that he keeps repeating it. I record him saying it and send it to Weston, and when we’re in the SUV on our way to Boulder, he texts back.

Weston

He did not just say woohoo perfectly!

There’s no telling what he’ll be saying after a weekend with six women.

You know you wish you were here too.

Weston

You’re so right about that, Chapman. I’d much rather be with you. I’m surrounded by a bunch of grumpy-ass dudes who are pouting because there’s no caffeine on this flight.

Ooo, harsh.

Hey. I can’t believe you sent your fancy card with Felicity.

Weston

You deserve this and so much more.

My eyes gloss over and I stare at the screen.

Thank you. You didn’t have to do this, but it’s really sweet.

I only wish I was there seeing you try everything on like they do in all those movies my sisters made me watch growing up.

I bite my lip to keep from laughing, imagining teenage Weston enduring rom-coms.
