Page 45 of Her Werewolf Lover

Of all the reactions Michael was expecting when he told Samantha the truth about himself and what she was to him, watching as the love of his life fell down in a fit of laughter was not one of them.

“Samantha, I’m being serious,” he tried again, but she was slapping her hand against the floor and laughing so hard she was wheezing.

“Yeah, right. Okay, Fido. Do you do tricks?” she asked.

“You asked for this,” he said, growling and allowing his Wolf to take over.

A familiar wave of magic hummed across his skin as he took off his clothes and kicked off his boots.Michael called his Wolf forward, allowing the dark furred beast to take over his flesh.

His change was fast and almost one hundred percent pain free. His gaze sharpened, as did his hearing and sense of smell. Samantha’s whimpers and the tangy scent of fear tainted her natural vanilla musk.

“Oh! Geezus! Fuck!”

Samantha scrambled backwards until her back hit the bed. He huffed a breath and padded over to her, lying down low so she would not be so afraid. He did not want that. He would never hurt his mate.

“Whoa, you really are a Werewolf,” she said, sounding amazed.

Samantha reached out with shaky hands and touched his muzzle. Then she grew bolder, petting his head, his ears, and his back. It felt so good. His Wolf’s chest rumbled, practically purring under his mate’s caresses.

That was about all of that he could take. His body shimmered with magic, and Michael swapped fur for skin.

Samantha’s hands froze as what was once fur was now flesh. Now, of course, he did not want to scare her. He would never hurt her. But his mate needed to listen to what he was saying.

“This is not a joke. Supernaturals exist. I am one. A Wolf Shifter, or Werewolf, if you prefer. And you, my sexy little Sunshine, are my mate. You are the other half of my soul, quite literally. And I have been waiting a lifetime for you,” he said, ending his speech on his knees between her splayed legs.

“Michael,” she said his name reverently, touching her fingers to her lips as tears welled in her hazel eyes.

“No crying, my love. You fit me so perfectly. I need you. Never want you to cry,” he told her.

“Oh, Michael,” she repeated, reaching for him.

He hummed appreciatively as he grabbed her hips, dragging her towards him. When she went upstairs to shower and change after the fire incident, she’d put on loose pants and one of those snug little tops that she wore without a bra.

He didn’t bother with formalities. Merely ripped the cotton to shreds, baring her for him.

“Oh God,” she whimpered as he tweaked her nipples.

“See how ready you are for me, Sunshine? This body knows who it belongs to,” he growled and drove his tongue into her mouth.

“What about Maya, the crew, your aunt?” she asked, but it didn’t stop her from crushing her bodyto him and trying to rub her slick little pussy against his shaft.

“They can’t hear us. I soundproofed this room,” he said, the growl in his chest building.

“I feel it. Your chest. That gold in your eyes. I mean, I think the laughter was a bit of hysterics. Michael, I’m afraid to believe you,” she confessed, meeting his gaze bravely.

Christ, he was so proud of her. His soft, sensuous mate had such a sweet, caring heart. Such a tremendous kindness in her soul.

“You didn’t deserve the hurts you were afforded, Sunshine. I am sorry about your past relationships, but I am not them. I am not Gary. You won’t get games with me. I need you, Samantha. My Wolf needs you. I live to see to your happiness,” he said, and felt her submission as she started to believe his words.

Fuck. It was the headiest kind of seduction. Knowing she was falling for him as he’d already done with her.

“Come here, Mate. Let me have you,” Michael said, lifting her then nudging her down on the king sized bed.

He thanked God in that moment the curtains were opened, and the glow of the low hangingautumn sun allowed him to see all of her. Head back, lips parted, eyes glazed, Samantha looked every bit the goddess.

He kneeled in front of her, ready to pay homage. Completely in her thrall, his Wolf snarled aloud.

Sam’s eyes widened.
