“I want to tell Dad about us.”

“Are you sure, Princess? Harrison won’t be happy at all.”

“He’s notthatbad.” I wear my favorite jeans and a violet shirt.

“Do you want me to drop you there, Princess?”

“Yes please, but that reminds me I need my car and bike here too.”

“Okay, I’ll take you there and then we’ll bring your car here. How does it sound?” I get on my tiptoes and kiss him.

After driving to Harrison’s house, I get back to the clubhouse.

“Good morning, Rock. I thought you’d come here last night.” Denise cocks a brow at me waiting to see Ashley. “Where’s the Princess?”

“We did, but she’s having breakfast with her father. On Sunday they have a ritual or something like that.”

“That’s sweet. Did you bring her stuff here?”

“Yeah, she already unpacked everything.” I sit on the stool.

She places a fuming cup of coffee in front of me. “I’ve never thought you’ll move in here with a girl.”

“Me either, Di, but I like it.” I sigh, worry gnawing at me. “Ashley said she wants to tell his dad about us.”

“Are you scared?” I can hear her amused voice, but I pretend not to notice it.

“It’s not like we had a lot of time to build a strong relationship and I don’t know how he would take it.”

“I think the best thing is to let him sleep on it.”

“He won’t be happy to see someone like me with his daughter.”

“Someone loyal, trusted and ready to do anything for his family?” She points the spatula toward me. “Yeah, I’m sure no one likes it for their daughter.”

“Likes what?” says Blue, rubbing his eyes. “Good morning, y’all.”

“Today the Princess will tell her dad she’s with Rock.”

“Oh shit, you better get ready to run.” He shrugs, snatching a toast when Di slaps him. “What?”

“Shut your mouth and leave that toast.”

“Balls,” he drops it. “Why is no one awake yet?”

“They’re coming.”

I sip on my coffee while Silky and Bonnie join us followed by the others.

“Morning everyone.”

“Breakfast is ready, let’s sit.” Di announces.

“Where’s Princess?”

“She’s with her dad,” I sigh while taking a toast.
