“No, it’s not. I’m an adult, not a baby. I can decide these things for myself.”

“This is not the way to lose your?—”

“Virginity. You can say it. It’s not like it’s some sacred word, and that’s why I want to get rid of it. As long as I’ve never had sex, you’ll treat me like I’m made of glass. Like no one’s good enough to touch me.”

“Why are you in such a rush? Don’t you want to wait and find the right guy?”

“In a rush? I’m twenty-two, for fuck’s sake. You were fucking when you were in your teens.”

“That’s different.”

“How different? You’re a hypocrite. I think the Naughty November challenge is fun, and it’d be a good chance to have my first time.”

His Adam’s apple bobbed slowly. “That’s another thing. If you want to have sex, why must it be on camera for all the world to see? Why must it be with one of my actors? You can find guys on Tinder or Grindr.”

“I thought you said all the men on there are pervs who only want one thing.”

“But…” Words got stuck in his throat. He deflated against the back of the couch. “You want to know why I had to cancel our dinner plans, Iggy? Because I had to blow off some steam so I didn’t get furious with you when we talked about this.”

“Why are you mad? It’s not your body. You’re not even my real brother.”

Kieran tightened his hands on my bare thighs. “You’re right. I’m not your brother by blood, so I don’t have to worry about you.”

“That’s not what I mean.”

He shook his head. “Forget it. Which one of the guys were you thinking of doing the scene with? Hypothetically speaking.”

“I was thinking Milo.”

“Out of the question.”

“Why?”

“He won’t be good at first times. Too impatient.”

“Christian, then?”

“He won’t do. He’s overbooked.”

“Lamont?”

“Nope.”

“Why not?”

“I just don’t think he’s the right fit.”

“Come on, Kee.” I shoved off his lap and paced in front of him. “You’re not taking this seriously. If you don’t let me perform my first time on camera with one of your guys, I’ll go to a different studio.”

With a huff, I flounced off.

“Uff!” An arm wrapped around my stomach and lifted me to the tips of my toes. Kieran pulled me against his body, his front pressed to my back, and buried his face into my neck. “I can’t let you do that, Iggy. If you go to a competitor, how will I know if they’ll treat you right?”

“You’re not leaving me any choice.” I scratched his arm, but he held me so tight my lungs spasmed. I wheezed. “Kieran, you’re depriving me of air.”

He relaxed his hold but didn’t let me go. “You have a choice.” His hot breath warmed my ear. “The only man I know will do right by you and make you enjoy your first time.”

My heart pounded faster than when the giant spider had appeared on the TV screen. Was he going to suggest one of his guys make love to me for the first time? Tears pricked the corners of my eyes, and I blinked rapidly.
