Page 26 of His Little Devil

“Sire, we need to discuss Mistress’ relationship with Master Kane,” Thimon says, making me pause and turn to him.

He’s shaking, and I’d roll my eyes if it wasn’t out of the norm for me. He's always fucking nervous around me.

Kane thinks it's because he's in love with me, but it's probably because my last assistant, his boss, pissed me off, and I chucked him into the volcano.

He knew better than to try to control me. I am the Master around here, and they will bow to my reign, or I will destroy them.

I'm getting worked up, thinking about that little worm and smoke puffs from my nostrils.

Closing my eyes, I take a few deep breaths, trying to center myself. It's too early to ‘Hulk out’, as Kane likes to describe when I shift into my other form.

Thimon whimpers. Opening my eyes, I glare at him.

“What about it?” I snap and he jumps away from me, closer to the door.

“Well, you see, Sire, she’s been spending a lot of time with him, and the servants are talking…” he trails off, and I groan.

I trust Kane with Silver and anyways after she's wed and bred, I might share my bed with him. But who are they to think they can judge my queen?

I dare them to try and slut shame my Little Devil. It'll be the last thing they do.

“Silver and Kane are friends, and if that was ever to change, it would only matter to me, my bride, and my cousin,” I roar.

The walls shake with the small burst of power I release, and Thimon is about to pass out.

He nods exaggeratedly, and I sigh. He's just an annoying weakling. But he's been the best assistant I've had to date.

“Yes, Master, of course. You’re always right. I’m stupid to have said anything,” he babbles, and I’m over it.

“If that is all, I’d like to rest my eyes for an hour before the Council arrives.” I don't bother waiting for his response.

Opening the bathroom door, I leave him to his chores and head straight for my bedchambers.

My eyes are heavy, and I wouldn’t mind cuddling with my Little Devil. When I enter my room, I freeze.

Silver is wrapped around Kane, and they are both asleep. I should be mad that he’s touching her, but I’m not.

I know that Silver is used to having multiple partners, and though I can be a possessive man, I won’t stop her from having concubines.

But there will be absolutely no breeding. Silver will only have my children.

I need an heir, and she will give it to me, as the prophecy states.

She will be my true queen.

Moving to the other side of the bed, I climb in behind my bride and pull her close to me, breathing her in. She smells sweet, and if I wasn’t so tired, I’d bury my face between her thighs.

I've become addicted to her taste and can't wait for the day where I can kneel before her altar for as long as she permits.

Kane groans, and I quietly laugh. He must have just gotten a hit of my lust.

Silver wiggles, then sighs when I grip her, holding her tighter to me. I never thought I would find someone like her, let alone someone that I would allow in my bed, but she’s thrown all of my expectations out the window since the moment we met.

Their soft breaths and snores have my eyes growing heavier, and I can’t resist the Sandman's pull.

“Enough!”I roar and the room quietens. “I will not listen to another moment of this worthless drivel,” I snap, and ignore the Council getting agitated.

I have wasted three hours listening to their back and forth arguments, and frankly, I just don't fucking care.
