My eyes widen at the sound and he clears his throat, then lets me go, so I can look at him.

His cheeks are tinted pink, and I can't believe this large, gorgeous, Incubus of a man is blushing.

Looking over my head, he sighs. “I better return you before we get into trouble.”

I glance off to where he is and freeze. Thimon is standing in the distance, and he doesn't look too pleased to see us here.

Kane stands and offers me his hand, then mumbles some words and our picnic disappears.

“Thank you, Kane. For everything,” I say, then press up onto my toes, leaning over to give him a quick kiss.

“Anytime, love,” he says, before tugging me along after him back to the castle on the hill.

When we return to the room, Luke is waiting, so Kane leaves after giving me a goodbye kiss.

It looks like Luke is ready for bed, but we are getting married tomorrow night, and though he may not understand, I am planning to stick to tradition.

We won’t be sharing a bed.

“Hey, how was your walk?” he asks, placing Elena’s journal back in the bedside drawer. He sees me looking at it and shrugs.

“She may not have ended up as my wife, but some of what she wrote in her journals is my history.”

“I know Kane suggested that I keep reading her words, but honestly I don’t care anymore. I’m here, and her life was drastically different from mine. She actually sacrificed her love to save herself. If you ask me, she’s more evil than I am, even if I don’t have part of my soul anymore,” I grumble, and Luke laughs.

“See, and this is why I am marryingyoutomorrow. You are my perfect match, Little Devil,” he says, then waves his hand, pulling me to him with air magic.

“Okay, that’s not fair. I couldn’t even conjure a pair of pants. I had to walk home in this bikini, because Kane said he liked the view too much to help me.”

Luke grabs my ass and tugs me until I am between his legs, then kisses me. I melt against his mouth, and he wraps his arms tightly around me.

“Soon, I will be able to ravish this delectable body,” he growls, and I shiver. “I can’t wait to show you just what you do to me, Little Devil. My restraint with you has been severely tested.”

Placing my hands on his shoulders, I push him away. “Speaking of that… tomorrow is our wedding,” I start and he hums, resting his head against my bare stomach, playing with my belly button ring.

My body is beginning to heat, and my bikini bottoms are becoming damp.

“It is. Then you will never be able to escape me,” he groans. “Fuck, Silver, I can smell your desire. One more night, Little Devil.”

“You can’t sleep here,” I whimper as he starts to kiss my stomach and moves down, stopping at the band to my bottoms.

Lifting his head, he looks confused for a moment before smirking. “Ah yes, that pesky rule about not sleeping with your betrothed the night before the ceremony,” he grumbles.

I nod, biting my lower lip as he snaps his fingers, and I'm instantly naked. My body is trembling and aching for him to keep going.

“I will allow you your traditions, Little Devil, but first, I am going to have my dinner,” he growls, before twisting us and slamming my back onto the mattress.

I moan as his head buries between my thighs, and his scruff rubs against my sensitive skin.

“Luke, fuck,” I whine as he doesn't stop or take it easy on me. His fingers rub along my center, before thrusting hard and fast inside of me.

It doesn't take me long until I'm ripping out his hair and exploding on his tongue.

“So delicious,” he says, moving away and sucking my juices from his fingers. “I’m a lucky man since I get to enjoy such a delicacy for all of eternity.”

Rolling my eyes, I huff at some of the cheesy lines that he says.

For someone who is supposed to be a big bad Devil, he's definitely becoming a softie.
