“You mean stealing?” I grinned. “I bet I can get more shit than you.”

“Doubtful. You’re on,” she challenged, moving to climb over me, but I stopped her, her body going rigid for a moment as she landed on top of me. She relaxed after a second and practically melted into my hold though.

Her arms eased around me as she laid like that in silence for a while, and I knew bringing it up with her was going to upset her again, but I had to know. “Are you into Zavier?” As predicted, her muscles tensed and she tried to bail, but I just held her tighter. “I’m not teasing you. I just want to know.”

“He’s hot,” she mumbled, and I couldn’t help the chuckle that left me.

“We’re all hot. Are you blind?”

“Definitely not.” I paused, her head lifting so she could look down at me. She seemed embarrassed, but she spoke confidently. “Guys like you aren't attracted to girls like me though.”

“I’m not fussy,” I joked, wanting to kick myself when her face fell slightly. “I was kidding. You’re fucking hot, Rae. Very fuckable. Ten out of ten.”

She laughed, thankfully, sitting back until she was straddling me. “Stop playing.”

“I’m not. You’re lucky it was Reid and not me you climbed all over last night because I probably wouldn’t have been able to push you away.”

“So, you’d fuck me if I asked?”

The hope in her voice had me as hard as a brick instantly, and I started to wonder what the fuck I’d just started.

CHAPTER SIX

RAVEN

I’d never felt nervous around any of the guys like I did right now, and Logan’s silence made me second-guess my question.

Had I not been direct enough?

“Will you have sex with me?” I asked firmly, cringing the moment I said it. “Sorry, that sounded better in my head. I want you to take my virginity. Wait, that sounds weird too. Shit, I?—”

“Rewind,” Logan chuckled nervously. “You want me to sleep with you? Why?”

“Forget it.” My face was burning with embarrassment, and when I went to get up, he pulled me back, forcing me to look down at him.

“Why do you want to lose your virginity so badly?” he asked softly, playfully ruffling my hair as he sat up so he was eye level with me. “Talk to me.”

“No one wants to date me because they don’t want to deal with me being a virgin,” I deadpanned, the ghost of a smirk tugging at his lips.

“I hate to break it to you, but no one wants to touch you and risk us tearing their arms from their bodies.”

“You guys fuck around, so why can’t I?”

“We don’t want you getting hurt, and you will. You’ve grown up with me and Reid, so you know guys are assholes. Which brings me back to my question of why do you want me to sleep with you?”

I was surprised by the uncertainty in his eyes. He was usually so confident around women and sex, I’d never seen him like this before.

“You’re my best friend,” I said quietly. “You’d make it good and you won’t brag about it to others. Anyone else would, and I don’t trust them with something like this. Reid would have a fucking heart attack if I asked him sober, since his reaction last night was obviously rejection. He was Josh’s best friend and will always hold some kind of loyalty to him over me. And Zavier’s made it clear he won’t touch me. It feels right with you.”

“You deserve so much more than me, Raven,” he answered, his face softening when I replied.

“No one compares to you. Not even a little. I can trust you with this.”

“The guys will kill me.”

“They don’t need to know. Please? No strings, I promise. If it’s too weird for you then I understand and won’t ask again.”

He was silent for a moment as he watched me before finally nodding. “Okay. The guys can’t find out though or I’m a dead man.”
