I climb out of the cage and take the blanket with me.

I have to place the coffee mug on the nightstand for a moment so I can wrap the blanket around me.

Now I’m cozy. And I have coffee.

I look at Corbin’s bed and swallow hard.

Then I look back at the dog crate.

I sip the coffee.

I feel hungover. Which I probably am, even after one glass of whiskey. But the truth is that this hangover feeling is more than just alcohol induced. This is sexually induced. I’m hungover from being fucked. For so long… waiting for so fucking long…

Times where I’ve hinted. Where I’ve boldly asked. Times where I’ve gotten drunk and demanded it.

Never to be matched. Never to be heard.

Until now.

Until the command from the right man with the strength and without fear of causing pain… the right kind of pain. The accepted kind of pain.

A consensual pain.

I take a deep breath and feel my body shuddering already.

Tired, sore, yet somewhere in the depths of my body I wanted more.

I walk to the nearest window and look out. I realize the bedroom to the apartment above the garage faces the main lot. There are a handful of cars lined up.

No sign of my car though. That’s parked happily at home.

I should probably send a few text messages. Check in with certain people.

A certain person.

My eyes look to my left hand.

My ring isn’t there. It hasn’t been there. It hasn’t been mentioned either. A forgotten piece of jewelry with an empty promise sitting on the nightstand, that I didn’t pick out, in the house, that I didn’t really agree upon living in.

To use my phone I need to leave this area.

Just in case.

Or… I can keep lying.

You won’t believe what happened! I got a flat tire and went to that garage you mentioned. You know, it’s funny, the guy you told me about… he is big and scary looking.

Guess what he did?

He stripped me naked, fingered my ass, and then tied me to his bed and fucked me so hard I started to cry! And then he made me crawl into a dog crate and sleep there!

Other than that, I’m doing okay.

I suddenly see Corbin come into view.

A motorcycle pulls into the lot.

Followed by a second one.
